EARHARDT: We love having you on, and last time you were here you<\/a> said the Betsy Ross T-shirt — and you can tell us what it is for folks who aren\u2019t familiar with it — that it raised $2 million, and you are donating that to Tunnel to Towers.<\/p>\n RUSH: Right. This is the most incredible story. Well, the bottom line is, we don\u2019t think there\u2019s any reason to tear down the flag, there\u2019s no reason to tear down our history, and, certainly, there\u2019s no reason to tear down Betsy Ross. She\u2019s an American hero, maybe one of the first feminists. So the thing happens with Nike. They come out with the Betsy Ross tennis shoes, Colin Kaepernick says he doesn\u2019t like them, Nike shelves them. People are tired of this, guys.<\/p>\n They\u2019re tired of this. They want a mechanism by which they can push back. So we did a quick four-day turnaround with the Stand Up for Betsy Ross T-Shirt made available at RushLimbaugh.com, the store there at my website<\/a>. And we partnered, as you say, with Tunnel to Towers. We would have been happy if we had been able to move 50,000 shirts and send that money over to Tunnel to Towers. I wanted to come back and thank everybody and let you know it\u2019s still going. Today, we\u2019re gonna announce that the donation to Tunnel to Towers is now up to $3 million and counting.<\/p>\n EARHARDT: (chuckles) that\u2019s incredible.<\/p>\n DOOCY: Whoa!<\/p>\n HOSTS: (clapping)<\/p>\n EARHARDT: Congratulations.
