RUSH: We have the Nancy Pelosi sound bite. Now, this happened on Saturday in San Francisco. We did our Morning Update today on this. We didn\u2019t play the audio \u2019cause it\u2019s really, really hard to understand, but I want to play it for you anyway because here\u2019s Pelosi talking about illegal immigrants and the effort to police them being un-American, and I believe that Obama telling the town hall meeting yesterday that we\u2019ve gotta move fast on immigration reform and get these illegals into unions, I think it\u2019s coordinated, I think it\u2019s choreographed. This is a mostly Hispanic gathering, St. Anthony\u2019s Church, San Francisco, on Saturday, here\u2019s Nancy Pelosi.<\/p>\n

PELOSI: You are very special people. You\u2019re here on a Saturday night to take responsibility for our country\u2019s future. That makes you very, very patriotic. Who in our country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families? It must be stopped. What value system is that? I think it\u2019s un-American. I think it\u2019s un-American. (applause)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Were you able to understand that? It was a little hard to hear because there\u2019s a lot of reverb and echo in there, but let me repeat for you what Pelosi said to the mostly Hispanic gathering. ‘You are very special people. You\u2019re here on a Saturday night to take responsibility for our country\u2019s future.\u2019 The backbone of America, in other words, the backbone of America, illegal immigrants. ‘That makes you very, very patriotic,\u2019 Nancy Pelosi said. ‘Who in our country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families? It must be stopped. What value system is that? I think it\u2019s un-American. I think it\u2019s un-American.\u2019 So, what are we left with? We are left with a supposed fact, and the fact is that ICE agents are storming the homes of illegals and taking their kids away from them as a regular standard practice and that this is un-American, enforcing American law is un-American. <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t believe that ICE agents, as a matter of course, are storming the homes of illegals and taking kids away from their families. What kind of value system is it in which aborting babies is somehow wonderfully American? That\u2019s part of Nancy Pelosi\u2019s value system. What\u2019s worse? Aborting babies or knocking down doors and taking babies away from families? What\u2019s worse? Neither are attractive, are they? But what\u2019s worse? So here you have Pelosi making this speech Saturday night to a largely Hispanic audience in San Francisco, and then Obama\u2019s teleprompter yesterday tells him to get rejuvenated on illegal immigration, amnesty, and making sure these illegals come out of the shadows because being in the shadows is depressing American salaries and wages and we need to get these people into unions. Choreographed and purposeful.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ed in Boardman, Ohio, great to have you on the EIB Network, sir, hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great, how are you? I just want to make a quick comment about Pelosi\u2019s comment of being un-American to enforce immigration laws. That comment is arrogant beyond belief to me. Who does she think made those laws? It was American congressmen and senators that were elected by Americans.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s a good point, but these people get to act as bystanders and spectators like they had nothing to do with any of this. They\u2019re doing it on the AIG bonuses now. They did it with Hurricane Katrina. They do it with everything that goes wrong, ‘How did this happen?\u2019 They convene hearings and so forth, waste everybody\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, they do whatever they think they can. But you made a comment earlier about the need to have disruption and despair in this country and you\u2019re right about that. For example, there\u2019s a shortage in primary care physicians in this country and has been for over ten years, and it\u2019s not being addressed. There\u2019s currently a plan for 20% cut in fees paid by Medicare to primary care physicians. If this happens there\u2019s going to be a significant shortage of primary care physicians and then Obama is going to be able to say, ‘See, we\u2019ve got a crisis, we need to step in.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know. Look, I firmly agree with you. I think as much of the capitalist system as they can destroy, they will. They will at least send it on a downward cycle, which creates the need for government. That\u2019s what this AIG business is about. This AIG business is about, look it, these people are thieves. Obama\u2019s been running these people down. Obama has been ripping these people to shreds, Obama\u2019s taking their jets away from them, Obama is taking Las Vegas away from them, he\u2019s wrecking the recreation industry. He\u2019s wrecking the corporate travel and business industry. Talk to any of the people that run these resorts; they are in trouble. And, by the way, here\u2019s a dirty little secret on that. You think that it\u2019s just AIG and these other clowns that are not any longer going on their golf trips or whatever. We had a caller here who didn\u2019t want to go on the air yesterday, we had a caller who works at Allstate insurance, Ed Reimers, ‘You\u2019re in good hands,\u2019 remember that? Not to be confused with State Farm, ‘Like a good neighbor.\u2019 Allstate, ‘You\u2019re in good hands.\u2019 And this guy sells insurance for Allstate, said he makes between 11 and 13 bucks an hour selling insurance, and Allstate now and then would have little trips, not to exotic resorts, but out of town to reward and thank some of the people that do well. They\u2019ve canceled. Allstate and similar small businesses have canceled their recreational travel, their business travel \u2019cause they are afraid they will be seen engaging in it and that they\u2019ll be reported and it will negatively affect business. <\/p>\n

So this is exactly right. Any damage they can inflict in the capitalist sector of this country, they will do so to create a crisis and say, ‘Only we can fix this. See, this doesn\u2019t work. See, this is immoral. Look at all the people hurting, look at all the people in pain.\u2019 And then they\u2019ll point to AIG which got bailed out, ‘Look at all these rich people, look at all their bonuses.\u2019 And nobody will remember that the bonuses were authorized by Obama.
