CNN is airing calls from people who are actually making death threats to AIG employees. This is not live. They chose to air this. This is taped, so they wanted to air this. This happened on CNN Newsroom with Rick Sanchez. Plays a call that they got at CNN from Angry Bob in New York.<\/p>\n<p>ANGRY BOB: Those AIG bums, hey, I\u2019m going to tell you something, did you hear what they did to the melamine guys in China who spiked the milk with poison? Up against the wall! So I think we should get all the AIG guys bonuses in the form of full metal jackets. Enough with these guys! We\u2019ve gotta tear \u2019em apart! America first and rich and obnoxious people second.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thank you, CNN. CNN airing this kind of anger and hysteria to create further chaos. I would venture to say that this is irresponsible. It\u2019s hate speech. Full-fledged, 100% hate speech, and there\u2019s CNN eagerly airing this, which of course can create copycats. However, let\u2019s go to MSNBC last night. Does the name Lawrence Wilkerson, Larry Wilkerson ring a bell, ladies and gentlemen? Does it to you, Mr. Snerdley? H.R., the name Larry Wilkerson? Colin Powell\u2019s former chief of staff at Foggy Bottom, secretary of State. Question to Lawrence Wilkerson on MSNBC last night: &#8216;You\u2019re taking on a guy who notoriously chews people up and spits \u2019em out in bureaucrat fights and in political fights, but I have to ask you why you feel like it\u2019s important to do that right now. He\u2019s out of power. I mean he\u2019s still, you know, doing interviews, making comments on current policy. Why go after him now?\u2019 He\u2019s talking about Dick Cheney. &#8216;Why are you going after Cheney? Cheney eats people up, chews \u2019em out, what are you going after Cheney for?\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125112.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"199\" height=\"321\" class=\"alignright\"\/>WILKERSON: I started to begin to be concerned about when John McCain and Sarah Palin were campaigning. I saw the fringe of the McCain rallies, and I didn\u2019t like what I saw. It frightened me. And I think people like Rush Limbaugh and now Dick Cheney, former vice president, as you\u2019ve pointed out and as everyone knows, are doing some of that fearmongering, too. This is not good. There are some crazy people in this country. There are Unabombers, there are Lee Harvey Oswalds, there are Sirhan Sirhans and these are the kind of people that listen to this kind of fearmongering, and it\u2019s dangerous, and so someone\u2019s gotta start talking out about it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: So Lawrence Wilkerson, the chief of staff for Colin Powell at the State Department said last night on MSNBC that Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh are encouraging the Unabombers, the Lee Harvey Oswalds, and the Sirhan Sirhans out there. They\u2019re all leftists, exactly right, these are all left-wing assassins! Whose book did the Unabomber have in the shack? Algore\u2019s book! Lee Harvey Oswald got his training where? Communist Russia! Sirhan Sirhan, politically incorrect to say &#8216;Muslim\u2019 right now, also politically incorrect to say &#8216;Palestinian\u2019 right now, but some have the courage to do so. These are left-wing assassins and Lawrence Wilkerson on MSNBC last night accusing me and Cheney of encouraging kook balls like this. I\u2019m surprised he left out Charles Manson. In the meantime, CNN is playing, encouraging violent phone calls from angry New Yorkers over AIG bonuses. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Larry Wilkerson, it\u2019s not me telling the American people who to hate based on how much they earn. And, by the way, I have a quote here from October 2004, the UK Guardian and columnist Charlie Brooker, and he said, &#8216;John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr. &#8212; where are you now that we need you?\u2019 parentheses: to assassinate George W. Bush. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: While all this is going on, we\u2019ve got guys like Larry Wilkerson on MSNBC last night claiming that it\u2019s Dick Cheney and me who are stoking crazy people who may have tendencies toward violence. Again let me read to you, October 2004, the UK Guardian, columnist Charlie Brooker asked the following question. &#8216;John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr.&#8211; where are you now that we need you? On November 2, the entire civilized world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod\u2019s law dictates he\u2019ll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr.&#8211; where are you now that we need you?\u2019 So you had a columnist UK Guardian actually longing for the assassination of George W. Bush. There were movies about Bush\u2019s assassination, books about it, how to do it, and we were told, &#8216;Well, this is a little extreme, but we must examine the art, the literary attempt here, we must get to the bottom of just what the artist is trying to say.\u2019 We were told all this. Meanwhile, CNN plays tapes, callers to their network threatening to harm and perhaps kill people that work at AIG. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Wilkerson, it\u2019s not me telling the American people to hate their fellow citizens based on how much they earn, or what line of work they\u2019re in. That would be your friends, Mr. Wilkerson. It\u2019s not me dividing America based on race and age and wealth. That would be your friends, Mr. Wilkerson. It\u2019s not me reaching out to mass murdering regimes throughout the world. That would be your friends, Mr. Wilkerson. Mr. Wilkerson, you worked for a failed secretary of State, and thus he is a failed aide to a failed secretary of State. That\u2019s what you are, Mr. Wilkerson, a failure. And the failures and losers who have worked in Republican administrations always find voice on MSNBC, don\u2019t they? And they end up spewing hate and division 24\/7. That\u2019s you, Mr. Wilkerson. And, yes, since we\u2019re back to failure, let me again assert something I said yesterday.
