RUSH: Speaking of all this: The Trump fundraiser in Hollywood scheduled to occur the week after Emmys. These lamebrains from the TV show… What is it? What\u2019s the Debra Messing TV show? (interruption) Will & Grace? Is that what…? (interruption) Yeah. Okay. So these two decide to start blacklisting anybody that would go to the Trump fundraiser. They demand that the names of the donors and attendees at the Trump fundraiser be made public so that they can be blackballed from working in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

These are liberals who supposedly hated when this happened back in the old Soviet days of the fifties and the Hollywood blacklists and all this — and they\u2019re out there openly demanding this. It was so bad that even Whoopi Goldberg on The View told \u2019em to stop it, to shut up. Don\u2019t do this. It reminds Hollywood people way, way too much of what used to be. So Deborah Messing and this other guy, McCormack is his name, they\u2019re now saying, “Well, no, that\u2019s not what we meant,” and they\u2019ve totally withdrawn.<\/p>\n

They sure as heck meant it. They have withdrawn their demands, but it\u2019s still out there now, and this kind of thing is going… We talked yesterday about the ChiComs, social scores for ChiCom citizens? That\u2019s exactly what this is. (impression) “If you donate to Trump or attend a Trump fundraiser, you are unfit to work in Hollywood. We\u2019re going to find out who you are and tell the world.” This one got shut down, but they\u2019re gonna keep doing this kind of stuff.
