CALLER: Listen, I got a question here. I do support the Republican Party. I got a questionnaire, a special questionnaire for RNC members only.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you a member of the RNC?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now: ‘Which part of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda do you most forcefully oppose?\u2019 Now, let me just tell you what\u2019s not on the list: Obamacare is not on the list. Cap and tax, not on the list. Illegal immigration, not there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bud?<\/p>\n

CALLER: The $787 billion stimulus.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bud?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bud? Bud? You know, I didn\u2019t notice the clock when I took your call. I\u2019ve got very few precious seconds left and I don\u2019t want to be rude. Can you hold on?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sure!<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s going to be the next hour but I\u2019m get to you right after the show open in the next hour. You sound a little tired, too. Are you okay?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m fine!<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m just mad that they\u2019re not answering these questions which you might expect.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey, it\u2019s the Republicans. Get used to it. That shouldn\u2019t be a surprise.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: I owe Bud in Port St. Lucie a chance to finish his phone call because I short-changed him on time. Bud, I got a question: How is the supply of Chicken McNuggets there lately?<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) I tell you, I got this thing from the RNC which has made my blood BOIL! You know how they said in the questionnaires asking for money which I, you know, I\u2019ve contributed to them in the past. It says: ‘Which part of the Obama agenda do you most forcibly oppose?\u2019 and they don\u2019t mention Obamacare, cap and tax, illegal immigration, the stimulus bill, the bailouts, the Cash for Clunkers, virtually everything —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then what the hell is on the list?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — that the people are opposed to! Let me tell you what\u2019s on the list. What\u2019s on the list? ‘Massive tax hikes.\u2019 Well, that\u2019s important but 40% of people don\u2019t even pay any taxes. I think more people are upset about Obamacare and cap and tax than ‘massive tax hikes.\u2019 I could be wrong but I think it\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What else is on the list?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. ‘Left-wing activist judges.\u2019 Look how they treated Sotomayor! Softball questions. What else is on the list? ‘Legalize partial-birth abortion.\u2019 Important, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s as important as the things I mentioned.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is pathetic.<\/p>\n

CALLER: ‘Forcing troops to surrender.\u2019 I don\u2019t know what they mean by that except maybe abandoning Iraq and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no, no. No, no. That\u2019s the CIA investigation. What really is going on with the CIA investigation, we talked about it yesterday, is Holder is not going to charge anybody. They\u2019re going to do the investigation then they\u2019re going to hope that some transnational court does it, indict our guys. That\u2019s what that\u2019s all about. Look, Bud, that\u2019s disturbing because they\u2019re out there trying to raise money with this list of the most dangerous things Obama is doing, and they don\u2019t even list the most dangerous things.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly! It\u2019s making my blood boil. Do they really think I\u2019m going to send them money now? Boy, this wires me up. I can\u2019t believe they didn\u2019t mention health care and cap and tax and illegal immigration!<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, all right, all right. Dial it back. You are a member of the RNC. Of course they expect you to send money because think sent you a request.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But you understand what I\u2019m saying. They\u2019re missing the boat. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, totally. What\u2019s…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You understand it. Sean Hannity understands it. Glenn Beck understands.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What\u2019s new? What\u2019s new about the Republican Party these days not getting it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. So what can we do?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m a little surprised that you\u2019re surprised out there.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Do we look for a viable third party or what?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bud, I want to do something for you. If you want it. I want to give you a Select Comfort bed of your choice.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes? (silence)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, if you don\u2019t want it…<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes! Yes! Fine! <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) All right. Because you sound tired to me. I know you\u2019re worked up but you sound tired, like you\u2019re not sleeping well.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m not. I\u2019m not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, this will help.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, that\u2019s fantastic.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Good. Thank you. Now, you hang on, and Mr. Snerdley is going to get all of your vital information plus the name of your kids and grandkids. (laughing) We\u2019re just kidding.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: And that way we\u2019ll be able to be in touch with you and get you in touch with the Select Comfort people so you can pick out the bed that you want.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And remember: This is something Ted Kennedy would have loved.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) That\u2019s true. Oh, and, by the way, I don\u2019t know if you\u2019re aware of this. Did you hear…? I used to live in Massachusetts before I got smart and moved to Florida. But a friend of mine there knew the guy who pulled her out of the car, and supposedly there was no water in her lungs, she died of asphyxiation, not drowning.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, that\u2019s right. There was a little air pocket. The rear of the car was sticking up.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: She tried to get the last drop of air from the back window. Yeah, I\u2019d heard that, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, they didn\u2019t print it, that\u2019s for sure.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s Ted Kennedy. He\u2019s a guy we can all relate to, they say. <\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: All identify with. Men.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve been trying so hard, so long, to get through to talk to you. This is like a real joy for me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It really is, because it\u2019s people like you that are bringing these issues up, you and Glenn and the other talk show hosts — and the American people themselves that are fighting Obamacare. I\u2019m so mad at these people for sending me this thing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey, Bud? There aren\u2019t any other talk show hosts.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hah! You\u2019re right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Just kidding!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Just kidding. I\u2019m in a flippant mood, not very much sleep last night, heading on vacation tomorrow. So I\u2019m be fair and balanced. Now, don\u2019t hang up, Bud, because Snerdley\u2019s gotta get your information here. Obama is on vacation this week and I thought to be fair and balanced I should go next week. It might not be current, because that\u2019s unbelievable that the RNC would send out a fundraiser and not put Obamacare as something you oppose most. Now, look, we know how much in debt the Post Office is, and we know that Port St. Lucie may be hard to find even for them. So that thing might have been mailed last October.
