CALLER: Hi, Rush. Rush, I\u2019ll be real quick. I grew up a Democrat. I remembered my dad making us watch Huntley\u2013Brinkley on NBC, the nightly news. And I voted for every Democrat. I voted for Hillary. I voted for every Democrat since. But I\u2019ve been thinking, you know, some of the things Trump says I\u2019ve always believed in. My dad did, too, and I\u2019m starting to think, I\u2019m holding on by a thread — until I heard Schiff, and I do know he\u2019s wrong.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean holding on by a thread? Holding onto what by a thread?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Being a Democrat.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Oh, being a Democrat. Okay.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Mmm-hmm. I\u2019m so holding on. I told you I voted for Hillary —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n
CALLER: — but what I\u2019ve seen that Trump\u2019s doing. As I said before, I\u2019ve always thought about America the way he does.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And the Democrats don\u2019t. And what really turned me off —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (chuckling) Okay. Anyway, I was watching. I watched all of Schiff, I\u2019m saying, the House committee on impeachment. And I\u2019m watching it, I\u2019m saying, “Wow.” Yyou know, I\u2019m watching NBC, of course. All of a sudden, I go, “Okay, I\u2019m gonna hear from the Republicans,” and I Pam was gonna speak. Bondi, I knew she was gonna speak. I always liked her down in Florida.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And it wasn\u2019t on. They didn\u2019t cover it! So I switched to Fox, and I saw it. Now, that has totally done it. That\u2019s it. I\u2019m done. I\u2019m done with NBC, watching any of their news shows. To do that — and I\u2019m a lifelong Democrat — give me a break. I\u2019m some cattle heard it into a pen that I\u2019m just gonna vote Democrat every time. That\u2019s what they think. Well, I\u2019m done.<\/p>\n
