RUSH: ABC News has apologized to the White House and Obama and to CNBC over the off-the-record tweets of the Nightline host Terry Moran. We have the sound bite. They might apologize for it, but it\u2019s out there, it\u2019s in the public domain now. CNBC tried to suppress the audio of the so-called off-record interview between John Harwood and President Obama. Harwood asked him, ‘Were your girls as hacked off as mine were that Kanye gave Taylor Swift the Joe Wilson treatment?\u2019 That was the question. And you\u2019ll hear Gibbs on this sound bite, too.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I thought that was really inappropriate. You know? I mean it\u2019s like she\u2019s getting an award, what are you butting in? I — I — I hear you. I agree with you.<\/p>\n

GIBBS: Does that count as the first question?<\/p>\n

OBAMA: The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person, she\u2019s getting her award. What\u2019s he doing up there?<\/p>\n

HARWOOD: Why would he do that?<\/p>\n

OBAMA: He\u2019s a jackass. (laughter)<\/p>\n

RUSH: So that\u2019s Obama calling Kanye West a jackass, obviously a racist comment, Kanye West being black. Terry Moran put this out, tweeted it, and all hell broke loose because this was supposedly off the record. You heard Gibbs, ‘Is that the first question?\u2019 So now NBC tries to suppress the audio, but ABC has apologized to the White House. It\u2019s clear to me that ABC is racist, and Terry Moran obviously racist for daring to tweet about this in the first place that Obama called Kanye West a jackass. Here, play it again, Sam. I want you to hear the president of the United States as he really is when he thinks the microphones are off. <\/p>\n
