I am going to be on the Jay Leno Show Thursday night. After I appear on the couch I\u2019m going to drive their little electric car around the track and run over as many pop ups of Algore and a five-second penalty for each hit that I can. So last night, Leno asked Barney Frank, the Banking Queen, &#8216;If you had to have dinner with one of the following political conservatives, which one would you choose: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck or Ann Coulter?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>FRANK: I guess of the three, I would take Rush Limbaugh because it would be very painful, and he would come with the painkillers, which he always has. (applause)<\/p>\n<p>LENO: (cat meowing noise)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: My first thought was to ignore this and turn the other cheek, but maybe that\u2019s what Barney wants. So I decided to go ahead and use the bite. And then it got even better. Leno said, &#8216;The last time you went skinny-dipping, when was that?\u2019 Now let\u2019s conjure that image. Here\u2019s Barney Frank, who gave us the subprime housing crisis. Here\u2019s his answer.<\/p>\n<p>FRANK: I was in Palm Springs in a very private pool, my boyfriend and I were out there, I was doing a fundraiser, and it was a very secluded spot, and we didn\u2019t see any helicopters so we went into the pool.<\/p>\n<p>LENO: And hopefully there are no photos?<\/p>\n<p>FRANK: Well, no, I hope there aren\u2019t. Maybe of him it wouldn\u2019t be so bad.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And they want to tell me that I am engaging in the coarsening of the culture and yet here is NBC and the Leno Show presenting an image of Barney Frank skinny-dipping in a pool in Palm Springs and I guarantee everybody in Palm Springs is trying to find out which pool so they can avoid it. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Now, folks, look, I\u2019m getting all kinds of grief for playing the Barney Frank sound bite. It doesn\u2019t bother me, folks. It goes in one ear and out another orifice.
