Shortly after 12 noon today, or maybe just before 12 noon, the president was leaving the White House on the way to helicopter, Marine One, to get on a flight down to North Carolina. He was holding something in his hand, and he walked up to the media. This is what he said&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: So, I just got this. It was just handed to me. This is the D.C. Circuit, and we just we just won the big emoluments case. I think it was a unanimous decision. This was brought by Nancy Pelosi and her group. It just came out a few minutes ago. So, I\u2019ll be reading it on the helicopter. But it was a total win. This was brought by 230 Democrats in Congress on emoluments. It was another phony case, and we won it three to nothing. We won it unanimously.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-336161\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/APP-020720-Trump-Emoluments.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/APP-020720-Trump-Emoluments.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/APP-020720-Trump-Emoluments-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I mean, it\u2019s just another slam dunk. &#8220;A federal appeals court [three to nothing] dismissed a lawsuit by congressional Democrats alleging President Donald Trump violated the emoluments clause of the Constitution by refusing to allow lawmakers to review and approve his financial interests.&#8221; And, as CNN says here, &#8220;The ruling is a major triumph for the president, who\u2019s intensely sought to keep his business affairs in private&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The case\u2019s dismissal effectively kneecaps one of several attempts Democrats have made to dig up more information about Trump\u2019s business holdings.&#8221; Trump has kneecaped \u2019em on everything. The Democrats have been kneecapped, the media has been kneecapped on virtually everything.<\/p>\n<p>Folks, unemployment news here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/markets.businessinsider.com\/news\/stocks\/january-jobs-report-us-economy-225000-jobs-wage-growth-unemployment-2020-2-1028884919\">&#8220;U.S. Creates 225,000 New Jobs in January, Way Above the Experts\u2019 Prediction of 164,000.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/economy-beats-expectations-with-225-000-jobs-in-january-unemployment-3-6\">&#8220;Unemployment Rate: 3.6%.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/news\/u-s-adds-255000-jobs-continues-strong-wage-growth-despite-manufacturing-slump\/\">&#8220;Wages Climb 3.1% Yearly Rate in January.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The approval numbers that Trump has after every attempt the Democrats have made&#8230; If I were them, I would seriously be looking at what they\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-317043 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/APP-072619-Winning-TRUMP.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/APP-072619-Winning-TRUMP.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/APP-072619-Winning-TRUMP-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve heard me say, &#8220;They\u2019ve launched every weapon they know destroys Republicans. They\u2019ve thrown everything at Trump that has gotten rid of any Republican they\u2019ve wanted to take out for as long as I\u2019ve been doing this, and not one of them &#8212; not one of them &#8212; has even come close.&#8221; They haven\u2019t even gotten close is the point, despite what the media says. The media has been running Trump\u2019s funeral for three years.
