CALLER: Hey, Rush! How you doing? <\/p>\n

RUSH: Very well, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mega dittos.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: With a Rush Baby on the way.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right! <\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s amazing. You do get nervous talking to you. But, hey, I have a question and another one if you\u2019ll permit me. The first question is do you have a compilation of all the music you use in the bumper rotation, and where would you go to the find that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Compilation of all…? We don\u2019t. We just haphazardly add to it, and whenever I remember a song that I like and it fits we add to it but I don\u2019t think we actually have a list.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wish you did have a list because I\u2019d love to get the same music you have because I know you and I both like Top 40.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I tell you what I\u2019m going to do. It\u2019s a good thing you\u2019ve suggested. It\u2019s a good thing and the person who asked me if we\u2019re going to take a vacation day on Monday, I\u2019ll give them the task of compiling it. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If you were listening yesterday, the staff in New York, haven\u2019t been there this year, a protest the tax authorities in New York, and not being there, the staff\u2019s getting a little lax up there. Somebody sent me a note saying, ‘Are we working Monday, because it\u2019d be a vacation day,\u2019 which never used to happen.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: So that staffer will be assigned the task of compiling the list of tunes in our bumper rotation.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great. Thank you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. And I don\u2019t know how long it will take. We\u2019ll see. And if we get it done we\u2019ll post it at RushLimbaugh.com.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: My other question.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Are you going to be judging at the Miss America contest?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, I did accept the invitation.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great. My wife and I are trying to plan a trip and I thought, ‘Maybe if I went there I could maybe bump into Rush and maybe get a picture with him,\u2019 but might find the next Nobel Peace Prize winner there since they\u2019re all wanting world peace.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Never know.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, it\u2019s true one never knows what\u2019s going to happen until you go somewhere.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly right. I did accept it. Did they issue the announcement? (interruption) Oh, it went out on a PR Newswire this afternoon? Okay. So I did accept. I don\u2019t know who the other judges are. But I did accept. They sent the press release by. There was one thing on this, folks, I looked at and I said, ‘Oh, no.\u2019 This is after I\u2019d accepted but before I saw the press release. They have started at the Miss America program a new duty for Miss America. She\u2019s going to lead something called the Go Green Campaign. I looked at that and said, ‘Well, I already committed.\u2019 So I\u2019m in there. But it is what it is. (interruption) No, no, no, Snerdley. It doesn\u2019t mean go cap. Go green means let\u2019s get on the solar power bandwagon. Let\u2019s get on the mercury-filled lightbulb bandwagon. Let\u2019s mow the grass bandwagon. Because those are the only green jobs that are ever going to be: landscaping and lawn mowing. Trust me on this. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
