Tar Heel dittos.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: Thank you.<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: Great to hear you today. I just wanted to be one of the many, I\u2019m sure, to recognize that today is Pearl Harbor Day. It was the second worst attack on US soil, and I haven\u2019t heard a whole lot mentioned about it in the news. I certainly haven\u2019t heard Obama say much about it, but —<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: Well, it\u2019s — I think it\u2019s appropriately fitting that the first day of the Copenhagen fraud climate hoax happens on December 7th; December 7th, FDR said, a ‘day that will live in infamy,\u2019 as he said it. We\u2019re being attacked again.<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: Good point.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: We\u2019re being attacked again, this time by the international community, with a program called cap and trade and silly, ridiculous carbon emission restrictions based on total fraud science and hoax science. We live — you know, we\u2019ve had a couple callers from the military, and, well, actually more than two in the last two to three weeks, and they\u2019ve all said, Chris, that the US military today is not your military from World War II. It\u2019s not led by the same kind of people, it\u2019s not constituted for the same reasons. And we have an administration now, and a federal bureaucracy populated with people, who believe that the US military is the focus of evil in the world. That\u2019s why you\u2019re not hearing a whole lot of talk about Pearl Harbor. There aren\u2019t that many survivors from Pearl Harbor, even from World War II, that are still around that you can talk to, but it\u2019s a shame.<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: Yeah. I had the honor of working — an honor flight up to Washington one Saturday. We took some World War II vets from I think it was Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, they were going up for the day. I don\u2019t know if you\u2019re familiar with ‘honor flight,\u2019 but it was just the most remarkable day. They were so appreciative and they were just — it was so touching to take them up there. They just deserve that and more, because those folks have done more for us than we could ever imagine.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: And more than we could ever repay them for.<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: True.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: The — not just Pearl Harbor Day, though, I mean the current crop of media and American leftists is trying to erase the memory of 9\/11.<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: Right. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. It\u2019s frustrating —<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: Don\u2019t take —<\/line> <\/line>CALLER: — as all get out, I\u2019m a flight attendant, and I don\u2019t forget that every time I go to work. I mean, I\u2019m always vigilant — as I hope most of my coworkers are — because I feel like there\u2019s so much — what\u2019s the word — people are forgetting about it.<\/line> <\/line>RUSH: It\u2019s — you know, generations change, and the whole attitude on war now is different than it used to be. I\u2019m glad you called and mentioned it, because this program is one of the lone outposts — not lone, there\u2019s several still remaining — but where the US military is praised, valor and efforts, it\u2019s constantly celebrated and remembered, so I\u2019m glad, Chris, that you called and mentioned it. <\/line><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
