It\u2019s time to man up. It\u2019s time to grow up.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: All right, Jake Tapper on February 1st, four days ago, during the White House press briefing with Robert Gibbs they had this exchange&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: Isn\u2019t the whole point of being president and controlling the House and Senate to man up and make these tough decisions.<\/p>\n<p>GIBBS: Yes! <\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: Whether or not &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>GIBBS: Absolutely!<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: Whether or not it costs at the ballot box in November?<\/p>\n<p>GIBBS: (stammering) We\u2019re&#8230; We\u2019re&#8230; We\u2019re not &#8212; we\u2019re not&#8230; The commission &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: You\u2019re saying, &#8216;We\u2019re not going to do it unless we have sign off from the Republicans.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>GIBBS: No, no, no. W-we\u2019re not going to make progress unless we have sign off from the Republicans but again, Jake: There\u2019s not unanimity in one party on either way forward.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Gibbs doesn\u2019t like that, either. Jack Tapper said, &#8216;man up.\u2019 So I said that on January 28th. Ahem. And Jake Tapper said it on February 1st.
