This happened yesterday at the White House at a briefing. There is an infobabe working at CBS, and her name is Weijia Jiang, and she is a provocateur. She hates Trump, and she purposely attempts to show Trump up. She asks disrespectful questions. She asks gotcha questions for CBS News, and Trump finally hit back at her yesterday, and then walked out of his own press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>And now people are saying, &#8220;This Trump guy, you know what?&#8221; The pressure\u2019s getting to him! Trump can\u2019t handle it.&#8221; I want to play this because these people have made no effort to understand who Trump is and what makes him tick. The bite here is about 43 seconds. You probably&#8230; You may have seen this if you have been watching this on cable news, but here it is.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-348237\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/APP-051220-Trump-COVID-china-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/APP-051220-Trump-COVID-china-5.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/APP-051220-Trump-COVID-china-5-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/APP-051220-Trump-COVID-china-5-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>JIANG: You said many times that the U.S. is doing far better than any other country when it comes to testing.<\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>JIANG: Why does that matter? Why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives and we\u2019re still seeing more cases every day?<\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: Well, they\u2019re losing their lives everywhere in the world, and maybe that\u2019s a question you should ask China. Don\u2019t ask me, ask China that question, okay? When you ask them that question, you may get a very unusual answer. Yes, behind you please.<\/p>\n<p>JIANG: Sir, why are you saying that to me, specifically &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: I\u2019m telling you.<\/p>\n<p>JIANG: &#8212; that I should ask China?<\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: I\u2019m not saying it specifically to anybody. I\u2019m saying it to anybody that would ask a nasty question like that.<\/p>\n<p>JIANG: That\u2019s not &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: All right. So she\u2019s in there wearing a mask. She took the mask off so that everybody watching would know that she\u2019s ChiCom. And then she said, &#8220;Sir, why are you asking that question of me? Why are you asking that question of me?&#8221; As though Trump\u2019s some kind of a racist. She\u2019s trying to portray him as a racist and a bigot by mentioning China.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MRC TV video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/embed\/549955\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But the lesson to be learned in this is not that, because that\u2019s typical left-wing behavior. This babe is ChiCom. She\u2019s sitting there practicing identity politics. Trump happens to say, &#8220;You should ask China for the answer to your question.&#8221; She gets personally offended thinking that Trump has insulted her?<\/p>\n<p>These people can\u2019t get past the notion this isn\u2019t about them. At any rate, so Trump points out &#8212; and he had a chart yesterday pointing out &#8212; that we have more testing done than any other country in the world and that we\u2019ve been ramping up our testing, and we are running rings around the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>And she says, &#8220;Why does that matter? Why is this a global competition to you?&#8221; And that question is so illuminating. It illustrates so much about how these people and why, have no idea who Donald Trump is. Donald Trump, since he\u2019s been talking politics on television for the last 30 years, has been trying to warn everybody that we are in a lose-lose set of circumstances with China. That they are manipulating their currency. That they are screwing us on trade balances. They\u2019re screwing us on import-export. They are not playing fairly in the realm of international trade. He\u2019s been on this for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>It is a competition to him. The world is a gigantic competition. We are in competition with other nations. We\u2019re in competition to have the biggest, baddest superpower military. We\u2019re in competition to have the biggest, baddest super economy. We always have been. &#8220;Why do you look at this as a competition? Why is it so important for you to say there are so many more tests than anybody else?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe because you people in the media have been ripping Trump for incompetence since this all started. You\u2019ve been ripping him for the lack of ventilators. You\u2019ve been ripping him for the lack of tests. You\u2019ve been ripping him to shreds for the lack of this and the lack of that, claiming the U.S. isn\u2019t doing anything right because of him.<\/p>\n<p>So he comes out in a press conference and points out that we\u2019re running rings around the world in testing, which Fauci and all these other people are saying is crucial to opening up. Fauci and all these people who are encouraging the shutdown are saying we can\u2019t reopen \u2019til we can test everybody every day. What an absolute crock. So Trump responds to it. &#8220;Oh, you think we don\u2019t have enough ventilators? Watch this. Okay, you don\u2019t think we have enough tests? Watch this.&#8221; Now we lead the world in ventilators and tests. &#8220;Why do you look at everything as a competition?&#8221; Now his point to her, you go ask China. Don\u2019t ask me that question. Go ask China.<\/p>\n<p>China started this. This is the China Wuhan virus. They started it. They kept facts and figures about it from the rest of the world for six weeks. They did not divulge the transmissibility. They denied that it could be transferred person to person. They denied how contagious it was. That\u2019s what he meant by &#8220;go ask China.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. President, why does it matter, global competition if everyday Americans &#8211;&#8221; Everyday Americans are dying because of China, you twit, not because of me. Go ask China. They can\u2019t see that. They haven\u2019t the slightest &#8212; you know what? It\u2019s not that they don\u2019t have the ability to understand Trump. They don\u2019t even care to. And they don\u2019t care to understand you who are Trump\u2019s voters. So here\u2019s sound bite number 15. He said it in such a leering, ugly, nasty way.<\/p>\n<p>JOHN HARWOOD: President doesn\u2019t like tough questions. He doesn\u2019t like being challenged by women reporters.<\/p>\n<p>GLORIA BORGER: There he was, saying to her, &#8220;Ask China.&#8221; Why would he do that?<\/p>\n<p>WOLF BLITZER: The President said to this Asian-American, &#8220;Go ask China.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>JOY BEHAR: He\u2019s a racist, he\u2019s a disgusting racist.<\/p>\n<p>BRIAN STELTER: It is racist to look at an Asian-American White House correspondent and say, &#8220;Ask China.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay. So this woman asks him, &#8220;Why is everything a competition to you? So many Americans are dying.&#8221; And he says, well, go ask China. China is where this started. China is the reason people are dying.
