CALLER: Wild West dittos, Rush. One of the reasons why I wanted to remain anomynus — anonymous is because I wanted to stay off the regime\u2019s radar. But with regards to the immigration issue and the recent law passed here in Arizona, I have many ideas that I could go on and on and on for but one of them I wanted to tackle with you is my bone with the media to pick. The mainstream media has been covering the anti-[illegal] immigration protest rallies and only mention being the fact that 60 or 70% of Americans support it. While we have to sit here in our homes quietly watching the media cover all this garbage, I would like to ask, ‘Why can\u2019t we just for a day, a week take the lead from the New York Times, buried in the tenth page, perhaps not even cover it?: You know, just to aggravating the liberals for a couple days. I mean, would that be so much to ask for Fox to maybe suspend coverage of this for a couple days?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m not sure I understand. You want Fox to stop covering the rallies? Who are you talking about?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m sorry, I misspoke. Not the anti-immigration, but the immigration rallies, the people rallying and protesting the law.<\/p>\n

RUSH: For the illegals? You want coverage of people who are for the violation of the Arizona law to not be covered?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You want their rallies not to be covered?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, exactly. You know, even this but for a day or a week. Why is it that people who support the law have to sit in their homes and watch this crap? You know, we have to sit through Chris Matthews and all these other anchors, you know —<\/p>\n

RUSH: John? John, John, John?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — (garbled) about socialism and capitalism and pushing agenda.<\/p>\n

RUSH: John Doe, how old are you?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am 31 years old.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you should have learned by now —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughs) — that you are fantasizing. I\u2019m worried to hear about your grasp on reality.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well —<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘Cause you know full well why they\u2019re doing this. You know full well why they\u2019re covering it. They are gleeful, they are joyous when they see these anti-American, anti-Arizona law protesters. They want them to win! They want you to feel like crud, they want you to feel like you\u2019re the minority, they want you to feel like you\u2019re human debris. Don\u2019t let \u2019em get away with it.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: The Arizona immigration law since we\u2019re discussing it, let\u2019s go to the audio sound bites yesterday on Capitol Hill. At a Homeland Security governmental affairs committee hearing, Senator McCain had a chance to question Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, ‘Big Sis,\u2019 and McCain said (impression), ‘Tell me, have you got a chance, have you the law? Tell me?\u2019<\/p>\n

NAPOLITANO: I have not, uh, reviewed it in detail. I certainly know of it, senator.<\/p>\n

MCCAIN: So you\u2019re not prepared to make a judgment on it?<\/p>\n

NAPOLITANO: Senator, ummm, uhh, that is, uhh, not a law, uhhh… Let me just say this. As you know and are well a-aware, that\u2019s not the kind of law I would have signed.<\/p>\n

MCCAIN: And for what reason?<\/p>\n

NAPOLITANO: Well, because I believe that, uh, it — it — it\u2019s a bad law enforcement law. Uh, I believe it mandates, uh, and requires local law enforcement or puts them in a position many do not want to be placed in.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019re not complaining, and she hasn\u2019t read it! It is stunning. So who else hasn\u2019t read it? Eric Holder hasn\u2019t read it, and now Janet Napolitano says she hasn\u2019t read it. It is being distorted and taken out of context. (interruption) Well, he\u2019s next. P.J. Crowley. It seems like this guy\u2019s been around ever since Clinton was around. He\u2019s been speaking for some agency since \u201992. P.J. Crowley this morning on Fox News\u2019 America\u2019s Newsroom, Gregg Jarrett interviewed the State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley, and Jarrett said, ‘Have you read the law?\u2019<\/p>\n

CROWLEY: Have I read the law? No.<\/p>\n

JARRETT: It\u2019s short, ten pages. I got it right here in front of me. You\u2019re talking about the context of this law, and you haven\u2019t read it?<\/p>\n

CROWLEY: I\u2019m simply responding to a challenge that says that we at the Department of State were apologizing for America. We are standing up to America by saying, ‘This is how we function in a civil society. This is how we function under the rule of law.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: And it continued with this.<\/p>\n

JARRETT: Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder both have sheepishly admitted they haven\u2019t read it, and apparently you haven\u2019t, either. Well, what\u2019s going on here?<\/p>\n

CROWLEY: Again, all — (stammering) — all I\u2019m trying to do this morning is say that we had a vigorous debate and discussion with our Chinese delegation last week —<\/p>\n

JARRETT: You know what?<\/p>\n

CROWLEY: — promoting human rights here in this country and promoting human rights around the world.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, the reason why Jarrett was pressing this is because, remember, now, this Michael Posner guy — who\u2019s a big open borders guy of ‘Human Rights First\u2019 is big, big on open borders group on immigration; they\u2019re a worldwide radical leftist group — was leading our delegation to human rights talks with the ChiComs, and the ChiComs started berating us about our high degree of poverty, our rising crime rate, our homelessness and racism and our guy agreed with them! It\u2019s not unusual for the ChiComs or any communist to rip us because we\u2019re out there ripping them \u2019cause they are indeed huge violators of human rights. We always rip \u2019em. But they said, ‘Who are you? I mean, look at your Arizona law! Look at your racism. Who are you?\u2019 and our guy agreed with them!<\/p>\n

So P.J. Crowley was invited to come on Fox this morning to kind of defend what this Michael Posner guy did and when they got around to saying, ‘You\u2019re agreeing with the ChiComs. You\u2019re blaming your own country for this Arizona law. Have you read it?\u2019 He says, ‘No, I haven\u2019t read it. I\u2019m just here talking about the human rights.\u2019 The question is, who in this administration has read it? You see, folks, it doesn\u2019t matter. In fact, it\u2019s easier for them to say they haven\u2019t read it because then they can say about it whatever they wish. If they read it and blatantly mischaracterizing it which they\u2019re already doing, then it\u2019s even tougher on them but this is sorta, ‘Well, I know what\u2019s in it. I\u2019m being briefed. I have a basic outline of the bill, but no, I haven\u2019t read the whole thing. Of course not!\u2019 Why not? It\u2019s only ten pages. ‘Well, I have other things to do here. Basically we know what this bill is, racist bill, and it profiles people.\u2019<\/p>\n

This fits the agenda, it fits the template, and they don\u2019t want to know anything else. They don\u2019t want to know that what they are saying about it is not true. They lie. They have to lie. They wouldn\u2019t get to first base in an election in this country, nationally, if they were honest and forthright about their agenda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
