RUSH: So get this from the Los Angeles Times. Some kids are thriving, doing better than anybody expected, because the schools are closed.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s right, my friends. These school children are feeling less stress. They are getting better grades. They are happy, they\u2019re productive, now that they don\u2019t have to go to school.<\/p>\n

Some of these kids say they aren\u2019t tired anymore; they don\u2019t have bouts of hunger during the day. They don\u2019t worry about being bullied. They\u2019re well fed, they\u2019re energetic, they\u2019re loving life – ever since they have been able to “attend” their classes online — which they don\u2019t really do — rather than at their oppressive schools.<\/p>\n
Now, not all students feel that way. The kids who live in noisy homes, or whose families are suffering hardships or illness because of the virus pandemic? Well, they\u2019re not doing so well. But for the kids the LA Times reported on? Man, oh, man, life is good.<\/p>\n
So maybe it\u2019s time to reevaluate everything. What are we doing to the children? Why should America\u2019s precious, fragile, sensitive kids ever be forced to go back to school? It\u2019s too stressful! Their grades suffer. They\u2019re tired. They\u2019re hungry. They\u2019re bullied. They\u2019re miserable. They never win.<\/p>\n
We should close \u2019em. That\u2019s what we should do! We should close the schools — most of them, anyway. Forever. We should do it, we must do it, to save the children.<\/p>\n
And think of the billions of taxpayer dollars… Well, actually no, they\u2019d still charge you the tax revenue.<\/p>\n
But we should close the schools. It makes all the sense in the world, right?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
