You\u2019re next on the EIB Network.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125112.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"230\" class=\"alignright\"\/>CALLER: Hey, Rush! I am so excited to be talking to you. I wanted to say the comment earlier made by one of the media people about why are we even listening to Rush Limbaugh, who is not an elected official anyway. That\u2019s what my comment is about. What I would like to say is after writing my representatives, after calling their offices, after yelling and screaming and them voting total opposite of what I wanted them to vote anyway, I\u2019m glad that you\u2019re my conservative mouthpiece, because they hear you. They\u2019re not listening to me. They\u2019re not listening to what I want or what I think is best for my family or my conservative views. So if you\u2019re my conservative mouthpiece, and that\u2019s how they see it, then I\u2019m proud of it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thank you so much. You have made my day. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And that\u2019s actually well thought out. That\u2019s well said.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, it\u2019s pretty frustrating, but when the stimulus package for Obama was being voted on, I called Saxby Chambliss, I wrote him, e-mailed him, and he actually sent an e-mail out saying, &#8216;Even though I have gotten thousands of e-mails and thousands of letters telling me to vote against this, I\u2019m going to do what I think is in the best interests.\u2019 I mean, he totally admitted that he was disregarding what his voters want.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, at the time, now &#8212; at the time &#8212; Senator Saxby Chambliss was voting his own best interests. This was a very controversial time, and Republicans did not have the guts to vote against something that was being portrayed as a job-creations bill. They shoulda had the guts to go out and say, &#8216;This is not going to create any jobs except in the public sector. This is not the way we will create jobs.\u2019 They shoulda used it as a teachable moment, but they were frightened. Obama had just won. He had a huge, huge victory. His approval numbers were 65, 70%. The dirty little truths about Obama had not yet set in. Senator Chambliss and others simply did not have the fortitude to advise the people of this country how fraudulent this plan was.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, you know, but you did.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I did.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And that\u2019s why you want me as your spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (giggling) That\u2019s right! See? That\u2019s exactly, as a conservative, I knew what Obama was about, and I tried my best, you know, and I told her people to call, and other people that I know that live in his district called. So he didn\u2019t listen to me, and so you\u2019re always pushing their buttons and they\u2019re always flipping out when you say something, but, you know what? It\u2019s exactly how I feel and it\u2019s how millions of conservatives feel.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I\u2019m glad you called. Joyce, you\u2019ve made my day. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, great!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It\u2019s people like you &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Perfect!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; that make me comfortable taking the grief. I had a note from a friend of mine during the commercial break earlier in the program after my fatwa, after I announced my fatwa on Steele. He said, &#8216;Boy, you know, Rush you\u2019re ripping into Byrd and you\u2019re ripping into Clinton and Obama on this race business.
