RUSH: Yeah, hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah? Wow. I — I didn\u2019t think I would get through. I feel so honored. My father and my father\u2019s mother are die-hard, die-hard Democrats.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: And they always brought me up thinking that you\u2019re an anti-Semite. I\u2019ve listened to your program numerous times and I see that\u2019s not the case.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much, sir. I\u2019m glad you saw that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I actually see that the Democrats are the anti-Semites. Okay. So my question is: With this Russian spy deal in the works —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — why hasn\u2019t Jonathan Pollard been brought enough? (sic) Like, I mean, Netanyahu was here how long ago? Two days ago, right?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Just a couple days ago, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. And nothing has happened with that. He\u2019s been staying in jail for more than 25 years, and I mean, this guy gets to go out not even after two days? They even sentenced him to five years.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything to trade. I don\u2019t think the Israelis are holding any American spies. This is a ‘spy swap.\u2019 The Russians are holding one of our guys, and we\u2019re going to get rid of the spies here in exchange for our spy. But I don\u2019t know that we\u2019re holding any American spies, the Israelis aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s true. But I mean why would you release Russian spies when you could I mean — (telephone ringing) Israel is our friend. (Wife on phone: Hello?) I mean, I don\u2019t understand it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t really understand the spy swap because the truth of the matter is that the Russians don\u2019t have any Americans, either. The spy that we want back is not actually an American. (wife talking) The guy in question is a Russian citizen who was working for the Brits. (wife talking) That\u2019s who we\u2019re gonna get back and we\u2019re going to give up ‘Svetlana Chapman\u2019 or whatever her name is out there.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, that long flowing redheaded looker.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If it were Bush, would he send her back? Obama, another thing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well… (wife talking)<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know. As for Jonathan Pollard, you know, I don\u2019t even think Netanyahu raised it. Certainly he\u2019s not going to raise it with Obama. I guarantee you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. (wife talking)<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mean, Netanyahu is just happy to get out of there without having been dispatched to the basement to think about it first.<\/p>\n
