RUSH: We need a surge. We need a surge even above and beyond what we already think is going to happen. We need to make November 2nd Obama\u2019s Katrina. November 2nd needs to be a Teanami. And with stuff like this Soros business and everything that\u2019s going to happen, all these dirty tricks that are going to happen between now and Election Day, it\u2019s not going to suppress turnout. It is going to ratchet it up. Obama\u2019s Katrina: the Teanami on November 2nd. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hello, Rush. What an honor to speak to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve been listening to you since 1992, so this is a true honor — <\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and blessing to speak to you. I\u2019m calling about the politics in Delaware. This is a tough place for conservatives, and even the Republican Party is full of RINOs, and of course our lovely Castle is a good example of what we\u2019ve been up against. The conservatives, the Kennedys in Delaware have been ignored and actually better yet, they\u2019ve been denigrated.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I can\u2019t tell you early on in the election cycle how I heard over and over again the mantra ‘conservatives are not electable.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I heard electability, electability, electability, and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Who did you hear that from?<\/p>\n

CALLER: The Republican leaders —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — in the party.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what I mean.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And the interesting part was the conservatives in Delaware rose up, and we elected two conservative candidates, one for the Senate and one for the Congress. We cannot afford these seats to go like Castle\u2019s seat or we have a congressional guy running for his seat, for Castle\u2019s seat, we can\u2019t afford to let that go to the Democrats. And in fact this is the first time in I can\u2019t tell you how many years in Delaware that the conservative candidates actually have a shot at getting elected, at winning the election.<\/p>\n

RUSH: To what do you attribute that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think there\u2019s just a groundswell of conservatives and people who didn\u2019t even know they were conservatives —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — but now they\u2019re seeing the Tea Party, the 9\/12ers, and I think there\u2019s just such an awareness —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute, wait a minute, though, they\u2019re also seeing Obama, right? <\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely, the next thing I was going to say was they\u2019re seeing Obama, and I think people like myself, my family, they\u2019re seeing our freedoms at stake here. I mean we\u2019re in deep trouble with this man. And it\u2019s interesting because some people believe that in Delaware that if, say, the Senate race starts to go our way, it will actually pull the congressional race along with them. And there is a shot, it might be a bit of a shot at this point, that if one starts to gain momentum, the other one will actually come —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you have to think that the regime is concerned about O\u2019Donnell. There\u2019s no reason to send Obama and Joe Bite Me in there if it\u2019s a safe seat for the Democrats. I mean why waste their time. I mean their stated reason was, oh, it\u2019s a golden opportunity, we\u2019re gonna send Obama and Bite Me in there because Christine O\u2019Donnell\u2019s so stupid that it will allow us to show the rest of the country how stupid all conservative Republicans are. If that was the purpose, they didn\u2019t succeed in it. They went in there and their campaign appearances were all about, ‘Don\u2019t take anything for granted here.\u2019 They obviously don\u2019t think that Coons has this in the bag, otherwise there\u2019s no reason to go. <\/p>\n

Now, if the experts are saying — there are a lot of them, by the way, from Dick Morris to Charlie Cook to Rasmussen, there\u2019s a bunch of them — if they are saying that there are at least 100 seats in play, then pretty much you have to conclude that there aren\u2019t any safe seats, if a hundred seats are in play? I mean there are some safe seats, but a hundred, this is huge. If 70 to 100 seats change hands, that is a Teanami. That is Obama\u2019s Katrina. What the Tea Party\u2019s doing is making every election about ideology, which is what has to happen. The sooner that happens, the sooner elections are about ideology, the sooner we\u2019re finished with these people as having anything like a chance to become a ruling majority, or minority. If the education is conservatism versus Democrat, liberal, socialist, Marxist, they\u2019ll never win, outside of a couple enclaves here in the country. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
