KEN: When you go back to these mask policies, back to the very beginning — you know, back when they said, “We\u2019re gonna flatten the curve! We\u2019ll have this thing knocked out in three months and we\u2019ll be back to normal,” and most conservatives with a brain said, “You know what? (laughing) Once you get this many grown-ups complying with such BS, you\u2019re never getting it back. You\u2019re never gonna have that freedom back.”<\/p>\n

And here we are. Here we are approaching our second Mother\u2019s Day, our second July 4th right around the corner, and we\u2019re pretty much in the same spot, aren\u2019t we? We\u2019re in the same spot. Our governors and other politicians and everybody has got a say in this. The unions. The only people that don\u2019t have a say in this are We the People. Have you noticed that?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This is why I wanted to go back to Karol Markowicz\u2019s article about the damage that masks have done to kids. Now, we don\u2019t have enough time in this show to share all the damage, especially to the younger kids, like the 7- and 8-year-olds out there playing T-ball in 80-degree weather that can\u2019t breathe when you\u2019re running the bases for the first time.<\/p>\n

But she brought up the fact that the CDC just issued “camp guidance.” How about that? Boy, they got their hands in everything, don\u2019t they? Even though they\u2019ve contradicted themselves for months, she writes, “The camp guidance — clearly written by someone who has never attended summer camp and isn\u2019t even mildly aware of what goes on there — suggests kids be separated by three feet at all times, and six feet when they\u2019re eating.”<\/p>\n

Now, I just think that\u2019s me. I mean, look, we have two teenaged boys. I\u2019m pretty safe three or four feet away even if they\u2019re chewing with their mouth open. But sometimes, there\u2019s stuff flying. “The CDC maintains that vaccinated adults who work at these camps should continue to be masked — and, of course, kids should wear masks, too.” This is an absurd call.<\/p>\n

“The people making these absurd calls will be sitting in air-conditioned offices, while your children and their underpaid counselor will be needlessly sweating under their masks playing color war in 90-degree weather,” and Karol Markowicz says, “Don\u2019t listen to them.” Now, if you really want to follow the science, I would agree with Karol. I don\u2019t know if you heard earlier today, and it was such a great comment on Fox this morning from Pete Hegseth.<\/p>\n

HEGSETH: Of course they want to continue to wear the mask. It\u2019s the ultimate virtue signal! It\u2019s almost like the new MAGA hat of the left, like, “I will mask; you won\u2019t,” right? “I care so much more than you do.”<\/p>\n

KEN: That is the most Dana Perino has ever laughed in one segment. So that\u2019s one of the reasons I suggested we… No, Pete\u2019s comment was great, but she\u2019s got a nice laugh. Very, very authentic, Dana. Think about it, though. When you think of how things on the left start with a bogus scientific argument backed up by fakery, you know, they\u2019ll bring in experts like Stephen Colbert, Joy Behar, Brian Williams.<\/p>\n

You know, they all know about masks and virology, and then it morphs into — and you\u2019ve heard this; Joe Biden said it over the weekend — wearing a mask when you\u2019re told is the patriotic thing to do. No, I\u2019m gonna disagree, respectfully. Can I call you Joe? Joe, respectfully no.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the compliant communist thing to do. We\u2019re a free country. We\u2019re free men and women. We have a Constitution that proves it. Now, guess who was on the cutting edge of societal evolution back in 1993, and Rush was calling out how the ribbons and the role they play fit into the left. Here\u2019s Rush.<\/p>\n
