This on KTTV Good Day LA in Los Angeles. The guest is the editor of Rotten Tomatoes, which&#8230; What is that? That\u2019s a rating website where people, individuals can rate movies and TV shows. The guy\u2019s name is Matt Atchity. He\u2019s the editor-in-chief. They talk about the movie 13 Hours, the Benghazi movie, and the KTTV Eyewitness News co-host Steve Edwards and the Rotten Tomatoes editor-in-chief have this exchange&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_117139\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/13-hours-B2.jpg\" align=\"middle\" \/><br \/>\nEDWARDS: The movie 13 Hours &#8212; which filmmakers hoped would be like Sniper &#8212; a lot of conservative radio station hosts, et cetera, were getting behind this movie. It didn\u2019t drive the box office?<\/p>\n<p>ATCHITY: It didn\u2019t. Not really. It did okay, but not the way &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>ARAKSYA KARAPETYAN: Sniper, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>ATCHITY: &#8212; Rush Limbaugh would have you believe, right?<\/p>\n<p>EDWARDS: Uh-huh.<\/p>\n<p>ATCHITY: Like, everybody wanted to turn this in to show what the Americans want to see and, you know, &#8220;Let\u2019s do a conservative movie.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4CJBuUwd0Os\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: So this guy says 13 Hours&#8230; You might not have heard it because of the cross-talk. He said, &#8220;Rush Limbaugh would have you believe, right? Like, everybody wanted to turn this show into what the Americans wanted to see, and, you know, &#8220;Let\u2019s do a conservative movie.&#8221; He\u2019s trying to say that I was one of the big promoters of the movie and I\u2019m so out of touch. The American people don\u2019t care to go watch a &#8220;conservative&#8221; movie about Benghazi and this proves it. There\u2019s only one problem.<\/p>\n<p>I haven\u2019t seen it, and I haven\u2019t said two words about it, one way or the other. I have not seen the movie. If you want to know the truth, Paramount&#8230; This is the weirdest thing; it\u2019s never happened before. Paramount offered a DVD closed-captioning screener. I have to have that, or I can\u2019t hear dialogue. A week later, it hadn\u2019t arrived. So we checked and we were told, &#8220;No, Paramount has withdrawn the offer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They don\u2019t want to send the DVD. They\u2019re worried about piracy and so forth.&#8221; So I never got the DVD. I never saw this. I haven\u2019t said one word about it because I haven\u2019t seen it. Well, I may have commented on whatever other people have said. I have not seen this thing to review it, promote it, diddly-squat. If I had seen it and promoted and liked it, there might be a little different story out there. But I haven\u2019t seen it.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I think that movie\u2019s on 3,000 screens now. 13 Hours, just got added to 528 theaters, but I\u2019m just telling you: Had I seen it and liked it, they wouldn\u2019t be talking about it being a flop.
