They released a video of an interview they did with Jeb, and this is one of the excerpts. It\u2019s just 16 seconds of Jeb on Trump.<\/p>\n<p>JEB:  He\u2019s not a serious person.  He\u2019s a masterful politician.  He&#8230; As I\u2019ve described it, he uses dog whistle language to divide the country.  I cannot imagine Donald Trump becoming president because he would never win.  He would never win.  Hillary Clinton would clean him.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah, I&#8230; Here again, you know, they\u2019re making this kind of easy for me.  The guy that\u2019s beating everybody can\u2019t win, is what they\u2019re saying.  The guy with 3% says this guy at 41% can\u2019t win, implying that he can.  If Trump can\u2019t win, why can\u2019t any of you guys beat him?  What it is, again&#8230; I don\u2019t mean to overdo this.  But common sense.  And dividing people?  Would one of you in the Republican establishment ever just once say it about Obama so that we can at least applaud you one time? <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_115299\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jeb-3percent.jpg\"\/><BR\/>Because if you want to know who\u2019s really dividing this country, look no further than the White House.  Because that\u2019s where all the division in this country\u2019s coming from.  You people in the Washington establishment are gonna have to understand something.  The people outside the establishment are not dividing anything.  The country is already divided, and people are trying to put it back together here.  And they are a bunch of patriots who love their country.  They are not racists, sexists, bigots, the usual isms that you people you people in the establishment throw out to people you don\u2019t understand. <\/line><\/p>\n<p>All of this is happening rooted in love of country, love of this nation\u2019s founding, of its traditions, of its values, and the ever-present reality that we have an administration that\u2019s trying to get rid of all of those and transform this country into something it was never intended to be.  And to that extent, if somebody\u2019s gonna divide people trying to save the country, then I say, &#8220;Let\u2019s all stand for division.&#8221; But this country not being unified? Donald Trump\u2019s had nothing to do with that.  Neither has any other Republican candidate for president.  It\u2019s all at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. <\/p>\n<p>One more sound bite. It\u2019s Brit Hume, last night on Special Report with Bret Baier during the All-Star Panel segment.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_115311\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Brit_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>HUME:  It is now clear that Ted Cruz, as many of us suspected he would, is having his moment.  Leading in recent Iowa polls, this is a product of a well-financed and shrewdly managed campaign and of a candidate who may be the smartest in the field and possibly also the fastest on his feet.  But his rise in the polls will put him in the spotlight.  Iowa voters will have the holidays and all of January to ponder why Cruz is so disliked by his Senate colleagues.  The question then will be this:  will they still feel the same way about him when they find out.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Wow.  Okay, so you Iowa voters, you have about a month to find out why all the people in Washington hate Cruz.  He\u2019s the smartest, he\u2019s shrewdly managed his campaign, maybe the smartest in the field, possibly the fastest on his feet, and his rise in the polls we predicted, but he\u2019s hated.  And in Iowa, you\u2019ve got a month to learn what we know inside the Beltway, why Cruz is hated. <\/p>\n<p>The number one guy, Donald Trump, cannot beat Hillary, and therefore he shouldn\u2019t get the nomination, \u2019cause the guys at five and six and three percent apparently can beat Hillary.  You do the math and explain it to me.  And now Ted Cruz, the smartest, the shrewdest, the fastest on his feet, well, he can\u2019t win because he\u2019s hated by the US Senate.  That to me is a resume enhancement.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Here is Patrick in Palm Coast, Florida, as we zoom back to the phones.  Hi, Patrick.  Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  You\u2019re the teacher and I am the student, sir.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, have at it.  I\u2019ll play.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Okay.  I just&#8230; From your teachings, I know exactly how Trump is gonna be beat Hillary in the general election.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Right?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Okay.  This is not a normal election where you would have five battleground or swing states.  This time with Trump, I believe, it\u2019s gonna get to a 12 or 13.  In the four or five battlegrounds you have Florida and Ohio &#8212; which are the normal winners &#8212; both with Republican governors.  This time New Jersey, 14 delegates, Republican governor.  Michigan, Trump says he likes to buy bad contracts.  Sixteen delegates, Republican governor.  Wisconsin, 10 delegates, Republican governor.  Massachusetts, you said yesterday. But I think Trump might be battling in Massachusetts for their 11 delegates and a Republican governor.  Nevada, Iowa both have Republican governors. Trump &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Now, let me stop you here a minute, \u2019cause I want to say something and I got time dwindling, number one.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes, sir?<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_115341\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/GOPEstablishmentWash-DC-Rush-B.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH:  But you are possibly on to something, and I have been threatening to discuss this. Snerdley will confirm this. I have been threatening to discuss this for a couple of weeks now.  I\u2019ve asked them to remind me. You wanted to talk about this idea of Trump can\u2019t win the presidency, can\u2019t beat Hillary.  What I actually think, folks, about this&#8230; I\u2019m still formulating it.  But Trump\u2019s numbers right now, even if they are confined to Republican primary, they\u2019re bigger than Reagan\u2019s were. They\u2019re bigger than George H.W. Bush following Reagan.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re bigger than George Bush 43; they\u2019re huge right now.  And because these Republican governors are popular in their states, or have been, should he get elected, I actually think that all of this talk from the establishment assuring us, &#8220;Well, there\u2019s no way Trump can win! I mean, it\u2019s suicide.&#8221; I think they\u2019re scared to death he can.  I think they\u2019re scared to death he can become president, not just the Republican nominee. <\/p>\n<p>And I think the order of fear, the level, the intensity of the fear that the entire establishment has of this guy&#8230; Fear always tells us something, and I have never&#8230; It\u2019s conventional wisdom that Trump can\u2019t win.  Yet nobody on the Republican side can beat him, and it\u2019s assumed that anybody else but Trump can beat Hillary.  Where is the logic again?  There\u2019s no common sense in that.  So I think Patrick may be onto something. We\u2019ll never know until it actually happens, but he may be on to something there. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah, for example, they say, &#8220;Trump, he can\u2019t win! Look what he said about the Muslims.&#8221;  There they go again.  The Drive-Bys and the left wing assuming everybody thinks the way they do.  And they don\u2019t on this.
