CALLER: Hi, Rush. It\u2019s a pleasure to speak with you, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I have to give a shout-out to Mr. Snerdley because I feel like a young inexperienced actress that passed my first screen test from a great producer.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, there you go.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) I just wanted to say, to anyone who\u2019s listened to you for as long as I have — and I\u2019ve been listening to you for over 20 years — you don\u2019t show us your opinion. You try to make us think. And you did something about six or eight weeks ago that told me a ton. You correct me if I\u2019m wrong. You do not have guests on your show —<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait, wait, hold it just a second.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re gonna have people scratching their heads out there. I give my opinion all the time on a lot of things.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, I do not endorse during primaries. That\u2019s what you\u2019re talking about? <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir, yes, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I just wanted to make sure that people don\u2019t think that you don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about. ‘Cause I give my opinion here on everything, all the time.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But you also try to make us think for ourselves.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that is more true than you know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Which I appreciate, because I have learned to think because of listening to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I analyze things differently because I listen to you. And you did something I\u2019m gonna say six or eight weeks ago, I\u2019m not sure exactly of the timeline. You had Dick and Liz Cheney on about their book<\/a>. They were invited guests to promote their book. You rarely do those kinds of things, but about six or eight weeks ago, Ted Cruz called out Mitch McConnell as a liar, and that same day you had him on the show for 30 minutes<\/a>. That told me everything I needed to know.<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: About what?<\/p>\n

CALLER: About your viewpoints on who is conservative and who\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A-ha.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It told me your point of view. It told me you agreed with what he did, which I agreed with what he did.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A-ha.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was already saying before that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You are very shrewd out there, Tracy.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am a horrible human being, I know.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No. You\u2019re very shrewd, I said. Not a shrew. I said you\u2019re very shrewd in your perceptions here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I just think that we need that. We need what Ted Cruz did. We need calling \u2019em out for who they are. I took issue with Barb. I never called in before, Rush —<\/p>\n
