CALLER: When Carly was asked that question about the presidential code names, once again you inadvertently gave her the answer. The other day you were discussing the situation with Jeb Bush and his strategy<\/a> of running steady and coming on late, and then you closed that story with, “You can do that except when you\u2019re running against Secretariat.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Secretariat won\u2019t quit, won\u2019t stop, and will win, keep running to the end. I think Carly was picking Secretariat to show you she\u2019s going to run to the end, or at least the Republican Party, she\u2019s gonna be representative of the Republican Party.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I wasn\u2019t gonna mention this \u2019cause I don\u2019t want people to think I\u2019m lost in my own ego here. But I noticed this, I remembered I made that exact comparison. I wondered if anybody would remember this, and here you are, the first caller of the day. It was recently, too. It was somebody asking me to analyze Bush\u2019s strategy. It\u2019s exactly as you said — <\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I don\u2019t mean to interrupt you, sorry. I think she had that little glint in her eye that she knows that\u2019s the winner to beat, that\u2019s the code name to beat, and you threw it out there first, so you get a hundred percent kudos for that one.<\/p>\n
