It says up here that you are 18 years old. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Great to have you on the program, sir, welcome.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  It\u2019s an honor to speak to you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  I\u2019m proud to have you with us in the audience myself, Bradley. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, I want to get right to it.  I\u2019m a Ted Cruz supporter. I\u2019m actually a Liberty student. I was there when he announced his presidency. It was really cool.  I was already a Cruz supporter then but that already put the nail in the coffin. But I want to talk about Trump. I don\u2019t really like Trump. I don\u2019t think he\u2019s a true conservative. You know, he gave money to a lot of the Democrats, Hillary Clinton included.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I think he actually wants higher taxes on the richer, and he doesn\u2019t, you know, support defunding Planned Parenthood. So my question is &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  No, no, no.  Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.  He changed his mind on that.  Did you see that the other day?  He stepped in it on Planned Parenthood &#8212;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_109698\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ToThePhonesTrump.jpg\"\/><BR\/>CALLER: Oh. (snarky chuckling)<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; and then somebody told him how he stepped in it and he changed it. (sputtering) &#8220;Abortion is never, ever okay! Trump is never, never gonna happen.&#8221; So he walked in that back, he\u2019s now right on abortion, on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=5710\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Ohhhhh, okay, right. Ha! Ha! Of course.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Oh, you don\u2019t think&#8230;? Wait a minute.  I hear some snark there, Bradley.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ha! Ha!  Well, I don\u2019t trust politicians or Trump, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Trump\u2019s not a politician.  That\u2019s why a lot of people like him.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, I saw some polls say that they didn\u2019t like Trump after the first debate because he demonstrated that he could dodge around questions just like any good old politician out there.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, I think dodging questions is not per se&#8230; It is something you have to learn to do in politics, but I don\u2019t think it is an exclusive political talent, dodging questions.  Have you ever heard of Bill Belichick?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  No.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You ever heard Bill Belichick, the coach of the New England Patriots?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I &#8212; I haven\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You have not?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  No.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Never answers a question. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ha! Ha!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: He never, ever answers.  You talk about he\u2019s the king.  In fact I\u2019ve got an example.  I think it\u2019s the last sound bite of the day.  No, it\u2019s not.  What is it?  Grab sound bite&#8230; I want you to listen to this. Bill Belichick is the coach of New England Patriots.  You\u2019re aware of the Tom Brady controversy there and Deflategate?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Oh, yeah.  For sure.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Okay.  So the Patriots had their first preseason game last night at Gillette Stadium against the Green Bay Packers, and it turns out that Brady actually played the first couple of series. H was 1-for-4. (chuckling) You know, by the way, you ought to see the New York Post story on this.  Brady 1-for-4, insignificant yards, playing with properly inflated footballs (laughing) is the way the New York Post reported.  Anyway, so here\u2019s the coach of the New England.  You want to talk about dodging questions?  Here is the question from a reporter, &#8220;So what went into your decision to use Tom Brady tonight to start the game?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_109686\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/NFLBelichick1_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>BELICHICK:  We played a lot of players tonight.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>REPORTER:  Well, was that a last-minute decision to play Tom, or &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BELICHICK:  We played all the guys that we played.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  All right.  And that\u2019s how the whole press conference went.  &#8220;So, Bill, what went into your decision to play Brady tonight?&#8221;  &#8220;We played a lot of players tonight.&#8221;  &#8220;Well, was it a last-minute decision to play Tom, or&#8230;?&#8221;  &#8220;We played the guys that we played.&#8221;  We\u2019re on to Cincinnati.  Whatever.  So my only point here to you is that Trump is by no means the only guy that knows how to dodge questions.  It\u2019s not specifically a political talent.  But I don\u2019t want to take you off track.  I know that\u2019s not what you called about.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Right.  Right.  Yeah.  So that was just all stuff to make my point that I don\u2019t think he\u2019s a true conservative. I was just gonna ask you why you don\u2019t criticize Trump more.  You seem to always be really emphatic (sic), happy that he stands up to the media, but you hardly ever say anything about him not being a true conservative.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Okay, I\u2019m reading the transcript.  Why I don\u2019t criticize Trump more?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah. A little bit more.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You\u2019re basically asking why I don\u2019t criticize Trump more.  Is that the question?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  This is&#8230; (sigh) That\u2019s a really, really tough question.  You know why?  &#8216;Cause I\u2019m trying to think back. Your question presumes that I haven\u2019t been critical and I know that I have, particularly after that debate.  But that\u2019s not the point.  Let me try it this way, Bradley.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Can you name any other Republican candidate in the debate seeking the nomination that I have criticized?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That you have criticized?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ummm.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You\u2019re asking me why I\u2019m not criticizing Trump more.  I want you to tell me if you know if I\u2019ve criticized any of them, and if so, who.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (pause) Uh, yeah. I really can\u2019t think of any you\u2019ve really gone after.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Okay, so why should I go after Trump if I\u2019m not going after any of the others?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Uh, well, he\u2019s certainly a bigger story.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  He\u2019s certainly a bigger story? That doesn\u2019t matter to me.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ha! Ha!<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_109694\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/TrumpRushAdvice.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH: This is the one place where Trump being part of the show doesn\u2019t matter to ratings.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I guess so.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  It doesn\u2019t!  I\u2019m the reason people listen to this show or not, not whether I talk about Trump or play Trump sound bites.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It\u2019s cable news networks that get ratings depending on their guests and other shows.  I don\u2019t do guests.  I\u2019m not guest dependent.  That\u2019s not a factor.  You mean you really think I\u2019m not criticizing Trump \u2019cause I\u2019m worried about ratings?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  No, I don\u2019t think you\u2019re worried about ratings.  I just&#8230; Uh&#8230;I don\u2019t know.  I just didn\u2019t think you were criticizing Trump a lot. But I guess you\u2019re not really criticizing anyone.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah, there\u2019s a lesson there. There\u2019s a message there.  I\u2019m not criticizing anybody.  You know what I want to do, Bradley?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  What? (chuckles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Beat Democrats!<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah?<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_109728\" class=\"alignleft\" align=\"left\" alt=\"large\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/538508935_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH:  I want that. This country needs Democrats to lose everywhere, any time, anywhere, everywhere. Democrats&#8230; If this country is going to have a chance at recapturing the magic and the growth of its founding, we are going to have to defeat Democrats, and that\u2019s what I want to do.  As such&#8230; Well, I\u2019m not gonna go any further.  You know, I\u2019m not gonna explain how I do what I do. If after 27 years of three hours a day, five days a week, 15 hours a week&#8230;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>Take away vacation time, sick days (not very many of those). If after 27 years people still can\u2019t figure out how I do what I do and why, then why should I tell \u2019em?  (interruption)  Well, I know Bradley\u2019s only 18, but what does that matter?  Am I supposed take sympathy on him \u2019cause he\u2019s 18.  (interruption)  Bradley, I\u2019m not trying to be snarky with you.  I\u2019m just&#8230; I\u2019m telling you more than I\u2019ve told anybody else: I want to beat Democrats. <\/p>\n<p>I really think the future of this country really depends on Democrats losing.  And I\u2019m gonna tell you this, too, Bradley.  Anybody in either of those two debates two Thursdays ago, I would take over Hillary Clinton, over Joe Biden, over Bernie Sanders, over anybody they nominate.  The Democrat Party is undermining this country.  The Democrat Party is destroying the character and the foundation of this country.  They have to be stopped. (interruption)<\/p>\n<p>Jeez!  (chuckling)  Now I got people shouting at me.  You want to know why you couldn\u2019t hear the people I talk to on the other side of the glass because they\u2019re shouting at me now, and if you heard what they were saying, well, just unacceptable.  Like they\u2019re shouting, &#8220;So when are you gonna take out X?&#8221; as though it\u2019s my job to take people out.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not joking and I\u2019m not dodging. The Democrat Party is the root of this nation\u2019s problems, top to bottom, and they have to lose, and that is what I care about.  That is what I am interested in.  That is what I am desirous of happening; so much, I can\u2019t tell you how much I want it to happen.  I can\u2019t tell you how important it is.  That\u2019s what matters to me, the country.  <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Bouncing off of our last call, the 18-year-old from Daytona, is there not enough criticism of Trump out there?  (interruption)  It is?  I thought there was a lot of criticism of Trump out there, but apparently there\u2019s not enough.  I mean, there are people trying to make their careers, it seems to me, out of criticizing Trump.
