Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  The purpose of my call, this is in response to the Washington Redskins losing their trademark. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yes?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_108047\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Skins.jpg\"\/><BR\/>CALLER:  In the NFL, the way they do their revenue amongst teams and their merchandise, is they share amongst 31 teams.  The Cowboys and Jerry Jones have their own little deal going on.  But now that they lose their trademark, all these other people are going to be able to flood the market with Redskins merchandise.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  That\u2019s exactly right. See, that\u2019s exactly right.  That\u2019s a great point.  The Patent and Trademark Office told the Redskins they no longer had exclusive use of the term or the mark.  This itself, by the way is&#8230; This was almost a&#8230; I can\u2019t think of the term.  It was an ad hoc decision, and it\u2019s designed to punish the Redskins, and it is a typical move by this Regime. But it doesn\u2019t change anything.  The Redskins can still use it, they just don\u2019t have exclusivity to it.  So now, for example, a guy who lives in the South (who owns a pickup truck and goes to church every Sunday) can put the Redskins logo on his pickup truck legally. <\/p>\n<p>He can sell anything with the Redskins logo on it. <\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t take it out of play.
