RUSH: There\u2019s just a lot of confusion out there today, folks. I guess there\u2019s confusion every day. But I mean today there\u2019s really a lot of confusion out there. What in the name of Sam Hill is Bill Cosby doing? Now, help me out here. In all of these allegations that he\u2019s raped all of these women he\u2019s never admitted anything, right? Or have I missed something? Now, I know that the statute of limitations — that would be “statue” of limitations, for those of you in Rio Linda — on a lot of those has run out. <\/p>\n

But have I missed something? Cosby\u2019s denied all of this or not commented, right? So what in the world is he doing admitting — it was in 2005 — that he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with. I mean, this is really confusing. You deny all this stuff and then admit, in 2005, I guess we\u2019re just learning about it. (interruption) No, no, that\u2019s not the point. <\/p>\n

The point is this: Remember the War on Women? Remember how the War on Women, it was Republicans, evil, mean, sexist, patriarchal, predatory brutes and all that. Here we have another liberal, Bill Cosby, another sexual disgrace. So we got Ted Kennedy. We got Bill Clinton numerous times. Ted Kennedy, he\u2019s the king of the hill on this. Bill Cosby, and over here HBO is making a movie about how rotten a guy Clarence Thomas is. <\/line><\/p>\n

And in real life we\u2019ve got all these Democrats, sexual predators out there, literally raping women, in Clinton\u2019s case it was alleged, womanizing, treating women as secondary human beings and nobody ever calls them on it. We sit by and we idly watch while HBO gins up another movie, this time in an attempt to destroy, for the generation that wasn\u2019t around when it happened, the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings. The attempt to destroy Clarence Thomas yet again<\/a>. <\/p>\n

And now let\u2019s jump over to Russell Wilson, the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. Have you heard about this? Russell Wilson is dating this babe named Ciara. (Just one name: Ciara.) He describes her as on a scale of one to 10, she\u2019s a 15. He took her to a state dinner, some party at the White House. He took her there. I\u2019m under the impression — and I don\u2019t know this. I didn\u2019t bother looking it up. But I heard it secondhand that Ciara either dated “Fiddy Cent…” See, I know how to pronounce that, Mr. Snerdley. 50 Cent. (Real name: Curtis Jackson.) <\/p>\n

By the way, have you watched that show Power on Starz that 50 Cent produces and stars in? It\u2019s about… (sigh) Never mind. I can\u2019t describe it without being accused of something. Anyway… (groans) Just watch it if you care to find out what it is. Anyway, 50 Cent supposedly used to date this babe, and if it wasn\u2019t 50 Cent it was another rapper called “Fusion.” Is there a rapper called Fusion out there? I don\u2019t know. Anyway, Russell Wilson told his girlfriend, and then announced to the world, that they were going to do their relationship, quote, “Jesus\u2019 way,” unquote. <\/p>\n

Meaning no sex before they get married. Meaning if they don\u2019t get married, they will not have relations. Russell Wilson has made this public, and the people over at TMZ just can\u2019t believe it. They are shocked. They are disappointed. They are let down. Last night… There\u2019s a network called REELZ, R-e-e-l-z, and they did their TMZ Hollywood sports segment talking about Russell Wilson and he and the pop star Ciara have decided to abstain from premarital sex. Russell Wilson did actually say they were going to do it “Jesus\u2019s way,” and that he told her that and she was cool with it. Here\u2019s the TMZ report…<\/p>\n

Van Lathan: The shocking news of the day to me. Number one, a couple things about Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson had gone to see 50 Shades of Grey earlier this year, and had talked about what a great movie that it was. So I thought maybe he was loosenin\u2019 up a little bit, becoming a little bit more worldly.<\/line><\/p>\n

Over here we\u2019ve got some eight-year-old boy sitting crying on his front stoop yesterday fearing for his future because he\u2019s gay. He\u2019s a hero. We have another story today from Yahoo Parenting of a nine-year-old boy who claimed that he knew at age three that he was really a girl. And these people are all heroes. Over here, Russell Wilson, “We\u2019re going to do it Jesus\u2019s way”?<\/p>\n

Oh man! Oh my God, what a throw-back!<\/p>\n

The guys at TMZ couldn\u2019t believe it. You heard it. To them, it was the most shocking news of the day. Apparently Russell Wilson has had this image for quite a while that he\u2019s a clean-cut, top-drawer kind of guy. When he went to see 50 Shades of Grey. It says right here in the bite; you heard it. When he went to see 50 Shades of Grey, all these people at TMZ and apparently in the sports community got a little excited. “Maybe Russell\u2019s loosening up out there. <\/p>\n

“Maybe Russell\u2019s going to start banging babes like everybody else does! Maybe Russell is going to make us proud of him.” But, no. He went public with his commitment to Ciara, that they\u2019re going to do their relationship “Jesus\u2019s way.” Over here, Michael Sam. Over here, Caitlyn Jenner. Over here, Bill Cosby. Over here, Bill Clinton. Over here, Ted Kennedy. All heroes. All good guys in current American pop culture. Over here, Clarence Thomas. Gotta destroy him! Over here, Russell Wilson. <\/p>\n

“Oh my God, man, what\u2019s wrong with the dude? We thought the dude had seen the light with 50 Shades of Grey! Oh my God, I feel bad for him, man. You know what I mean? I feel really down low. Oh my God, that guy is going to be celibate with Ciara? Oh my God! Oh, the shame.” Over here, we have Ted Kennedy. Over here, we have Bill Clinton. Over here, we have Bill Cosby. Over here, we\u2019ve got… Hell, the list goes on as far as the leftists are concerned in this regard, the womanizers. <\/p>\n

And over here, Clarence Thomas. Gotta destroy him again! Over here, Russell Wilson: Gotta try… (interruption) Well, you\u2019re relieved about what? What are you relieved about? (interruption) Oh, no, no. You thought Russell Wilson had done something wrong. He has done something wrong. That\u2019s the point. Russell Wilson has let down the pop culture. Instead of being a “good guy,” maybe even… I know it\u2019s a stretch to think this thing could be a role model. We\u2019re a little bit too far gone for that.<\/p>\n

But to have his public reputation tarred and feathered because he wants to do it Jesus\u2019s way? By the way, grab audio sound bite No. 20. This morning on TV One\u2019s NewsOne Now… What\u2019s TV One? There\u2019s so many cable access networks out there I can\u2019t keep track. What is TV One? Have you ever heard of TV One? I know what NY1 is. What is TV One? Doesn\u2019t matter. Nobody take the time to tell me. It doesn\u2019t matter. The guest was a Republican strategist Paris Dennard. Republican strategist! During the discussion about Cosby having testified in 2005 that he got Quaaludes to give to women he wanted to have sex with, the Republican consultant\/strategist Paris Dennard said…<\/line><\/p>\n

DENNARD: I think the things he was saying — education, family values — these things still have value. Heathcliff Huxtable and William J. Cosby are two totally different people. So the things, the values we got from him and that we saw on the show, still have value and should not be taken away just because this man was — is allegedly, through the public opinion, has gone out and done these horrible things to women.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, but he\u2019s still got value, you see? Over here, you\u2019ve got Bill Clinton. He\u2019s still got value despite having destroyed Monica Lewinsky\u2019s life and Kathleen Willey and who knows how many other people. Paula Jones. Cosby has value. Of course, Ted Kennedy still has value. Yeah. <\/p>\n

Over here, we\u2019ve got Russell Wilson and Clarence Thomas, and we\u2019ve got to destroy them. I mean, we are 180 degrees out of phase, and I\u2019m just chronicling the cultural decline for you. That\u2019s the only point here. I don\u2019t know Russell Wilson. I doubt I\u2019ll ever run into Russell Wilson. That\u2019s not the point. I don\u2019t have a dog in the fight.
