Or maybe they have in the last few moments, but from the moment this happened, they said, &#8220;Wait a minute, now, we can\u2019t jump the gun on this.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Speaking of the White House reaction to terrorism, let me get back to this. Just a couple of points on this.  Did you see yesterday where Josh Earnest, the White House spokesman, said that the Garland, Texas, attack &#8220;appears to be an attempted terrorist attack&#8221;?  He said it just &#8220;appears&#8221; to be an attempted terrorist attack. Now, what more would it take to convince the White House that it was a real terrorist attack and not just an attempt? <\/p>\n<p>What do you mean an &#8220;attempt&#8221;? <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_105646\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Earnest.jpg\"\/><BR\/>&#8220;It appears to be an attempted terrorist attack.  After all, one person was shot.&#8221;  Is it body-count related?  Do the terrorists need to get a body count up before it\u2019s more than just an &#8220;attempted&#8221; attack?  Needless to say, even though Josh Earnest did manage to say the T-word yesterday, &#8220;terrorist,&#8221; he and the White House reporter still managed to avoid the dreaded M-word, &#8220;Muslim.&#8221;  There\u2019s no Muslim terrorism. Yeah, there was some terrorism going on, but it was just attempted.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It appears to be an attempted terrorist attack.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>There were all kinds of qualifiers. Of course, the Regime hates to jump to conclusions &#8212; except about stupid cops.  Then that\u2019s a different story.  When there is the slightest allegation of any kind of police misconduct, it\u2019s automatic, and it happened, and the White House is out trumpeting it! And if they\u2019re wrong about it, maybe they\u2019ll fix it later.  But they have to be careful about what they say about terrorists, because there might be a backlash against peaceful Muslims. <\/p>\n<p>But, on the other hand, they can accuse the cops of just about anything.<\/p>\n<p>Because there apparently is no risk of backlash against the police. <\/p>\n<p>Bitter sarcasm there, folks.  <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: The White House press secretary briefing this afternoon, Josh Earnest got a question from Fox News Kevin Corke. <\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;I want to ask you about Texas.  Is there any news out of the allegation that ISIS may have been involved with the attack?&#8221;  Now, me put this in perspective.  ISIS has already claimed credit for the attack.  ISIS claimed credit for the attack two minutes before the attack.  They tweeted, one of these perps tweeted two minutes before shots were fired that there were gonna be shots fired.  ISIS has claimed credit.  It\u2019s no longer a curiosity, but yet today at the White House press briefing Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke said to the press secretary Josh Earnest, &#8220;Now, I want to ask you about Texas.  Is there any news out of the allegation that ISIS may have been involved in this attack in Texas?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>EARNEST:  No, I don\u2019t have enough intelligence assessment to share.  What the intelligence community is trying to do is they\u2019re trying to investigate specifically ISIL\u2019s claim of responsibility, and that involves more than just authenticating that the claim published yesterday originated from ISIL.  The analysts want to review whether the claim is accurate, and if so, at what level ISIL may have known or potentially even sanctioned this attempted attack.  There\u2019s a lot to review here, and that work has not yet been completed.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  I mean, it\u2019s obvious the Regime is doing everything they can to prove ISIS innocent here.  They\u2019re going out of their way to try to construct a scenario where they can credibly say that ISIS cannot conclusively be shown to have committed the attack.  I mean, this is just rich. (imitating Earnest) &#8220;Well, the analysts want to review whether the claim is accurate, and if so at what level ISIL may have known or potentially even sanctioned this attempted attack.&#8221;  There were shots fired, somebody got hit, and it\u2019s still an attempt.  &#8220;There\u2019s a lot to review here, and that work has not yet been completed.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Somebody get Marilyn Mosby on the case.  We would have known last week what happened here.  They\u2019re really going out of their way.  They are going out of their way at the Regime to exonerate ISIS here.  Oh, they would love to be able to do that.  They would love to be able to.  I can\u2019t wait.
