RUSH: we\u2019ve got Obama who is out there saying (summarized), “Hey, let me tell you something. My presidency is not going to end. My project continues after my presidency.” This is Obama speaking to Democrat donors in New York, and he\u2019s telling them how important everything he has done is and now he\u2019s not leaving it to chance that it can be overturned and undone.<\/p>\n

His project will continue. <\/p>\n

<\/a>In addition to that, Obama, courtesy of Al Jazeera Network<\/a>, says that “inequality” facing minority men is behind the unrest in Baltimore. “Obama said the effects of slavery, Jim Crow laws and discrimination in American history have left minority communities at a disadvantage.” This is a giant See, I Told You So. This is the chip on Obama\u2019s shoulder that I have warned everybody he came into the presidency with. He was angry, irritated, upset at the unfairness, the unjustness, the immorality that was the founding of this country.<\/p>\n

Now whatever is going on in Baltimore? What happened in Ferguson, New York City? Doesn\u2019t matter where it is, it\u2019s the result of slavery. It is the result, lingering effects of slavery, Jim Crow. So I said yesterday — stealing from Obama who, when dealing with Cuba, said, “Well, if we\u2019ve been doing the same thing for 50 years, and it hasn\u2019t worked, don\u2019t you think it\u2019s time to try a different way?” <\/a>— conversely, by the same token, the same political party has been running all of these cities (into the ground) for all of these decades.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t you think it\u2019s time to do something different? That homework story from Half-Baked Moon Bay was in 1994. That\u2019s how old it is, and that\u2019s an example of my memory. They were banning homework in Half Moon Bay, California, because not everybody had a home conducive to studying. Now, this Obama thing. He doesn\u2019t just have a chip on his shoulder; he\u2019s got a stack of chips on his shoulder. <\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Did you hear the latest number, that almost 21% of all jobs in the city of Baltimore are government jobs? The national average in a city comparable to Baltimore is, I think, 15% of the jobs are government jobs. In Baltimore, it\u2019s almost 21% and climbing. Even at that, Baltimore is ravaged by inequality and poverty. But the president says, this is not Baltimore\u2019s fault, and this isn\u2019t the Democrat Party\u2019s fault, and this isn\u2019t the people\u2019s fault been running Baltimore. <\/p>\n

No, no! <\/p>\n

It\u2019s the lingering effects of slavery and the Jim Crow laws. <\/p>\n

He made this apparent in a speech to fundraisers. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Let\u2019s go to the audio sound bites, because Obama now claims that it\u2019s inequality facing minority men that\u2019s behind the unrest in Baltimore and Ferguson. It\u2019s inequality; it\u2019s the effects of slavery, the Jim Crow laws, and discrimination in American history that have left minority communities at a disadvantage. Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning.<\/p>\n

ROSE: A new CBS News\/New York Times poll paints a bleak picture of views on race relations. Sixty-one percent of Americans now say race relations in the United States are bad. That\u2019s up sharply from 36% in February, and 79% of African-American respondents think police are more likely to use deadly force on a black person than a white person.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And again, it takes me back, three of the six cops in Baltimore are black. And here\u2019s Obama out, you know, worming his way into the case. He talked about Baltimore, he wormed his way in there. Oh, yeah, it\u2019s the effects of slavery. Oh, yeah, it\u2019s the Jim Crow laws. Oh, yeah, discrimination in American history, left minority communities at disadvantage. <\/p>\n

How do you get three black cops here? You get three black cops who somehow have been unaffected by slavery and went ahead and discriminated against a black criminal? Jim Crow laws? So last night on the soon-to-be-no-more David Letterman show, Obama showed up, had a discussion about the recent unrest in Baltimore. Letterman said, “The conditions you mention: poverty, lack of education, affect all people. Is that what creates racism? Is racism the factor, a factor, a residual factor?” He doesn\u2019t even know what he\u2019s asking. <\/p>\n
