\"Listen<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH, Folks, I\u2019m not trying to depress anybody. I\u2019m just being realistic. This stuff\u2019s not gonna end. I mean, how many of you in this audience went to vote in 2008, and for only one reason voted for Barack Obama: You thought doing so would finally bring an end to all of this racial strife, because you, as a white person, presuming, voting for a black man would demonstrate to every African-American for once and for all you\u2019re not a racist, that we aren\u2019t racists, that we can elect a black president.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s after we have made a black overweight woman the richest TV entertainer in the country: Oprah. And how\u2019d that work out for you? We have the first African-American president, and they, the African-Americans, are as unhappy, ticked off, and angry as ever. I don\u2019t mean to keep beating a dead horse with this, but it\u2019s important to realize this. It didn\u2019t work. To listen to Obama and Eric Holder and now Loretta Lynch and anybody else in the Regime, this country is worse than it\u2019s ever been, race-wise. <\/p>\n

How can that be? <\/p>\n

\"original\"We\u2019ve had six counting years of an African-American president. And, by the way, the African-American community is more ticked than ever because they were expecting all kinds of things to change for them, and they haven\u2019t. It\u2019s gotten worse, and their first elected president seems more interested in illegals from Central America and South America and Mexico than he does about them. You\u2019d be mad, too. You can\u2019t find jobs. Black unemployment in this country, youth black unemployment, 27%. Adult black unemployment is 14 or 15%. <\/line><\/p>\n

Then you hear in Baltimore these people running around blaming the fact that there are not any jobs. Who\u2019s running the show? Whose policies are in place in Baltimore? Who\u2019s policies are in place in New Orleans? Whose policies are in place in Detroit? Whose policies are in place in New York City? There\u2019s a simple answer. Liberal Democrats. Now, you go to a state-run by a Republican governor. You have a Republican legislature with him and he\u2019s had it for a while. Check the unemployment. It\u2019s way below the national average. <\/p>\n

Check the tax code. It\u2019s way down. <\/p>\n

You have vastly more prosperity and enjoyment of life in those states. As long as African-Americans are gonna vote the Democrat candidate, 90, 93% every four years, this isn\u2019t gonna change folks. It isn\u2019t going to change. This is part of the agenda. These are not abnormal occurrences. They\u2019re actually quite regular. It\u2019s when they happen is when the left gets in gear and tries to blame them on things that are totally irrelevant to it. And thus want you to believe that white cops are murdering black kids seemingly every month, every week, every day. <\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t happen anywhere near that frequent. That doesn\u2019t matter; that\u2019s what they want you to think. This kind of BS advances the Democrat Party agenda, folks. There\u2019s no end to this. This kind of thing happening in Baltimore is a perfect event for them to claim the need for more power, federal the level, power over police departments, power over education curriculum. Note what these guys say. Note what these city leaders in Baltimore say when they try to figure out what\u2019s causing this. “Bad education system. No jobs.”<\/p>\n

Yeah, right. Who\u2019s fault is that, Mr. Civic Leader? <\/p>\n

Are you not to blame for the fact aren\u2019t any jobs in your city? It\u2019s your policies!<\/p>\n

Are you not to blame for the horrible state of education, you and your liberal buddies? What\u2019s the solution? “We need more funding, we need more money, we need job training centers, we need more job centers and we need more schools and we need more federal government,” and that\u2019s what the answer always is. And they get it. The people don\u2019t get it. Just like the Clintons get the money that goes to the foundation, the liberal leaders, wherever they are, happen to get most of the federal money that flows into some locale.<\/line><\/p>\n

Somewhere, somehow by crook or hook, they get the money, or they get the use of it. But the intended recipients, the so-called beneficiaries, don\u2019t see a dime. And yet their leaders run around tell \u2019em how hard they\u2019re working for \u2019em, how much compassion they\u2019ve got for \u2019em, how they know they\u2019re oppressed, how they know those Republicans are just waiting to be all racist on \u2019em and everything. But they\u2019re out there to protect \u2019em. <\/p>\n

And then when the protection doesn\u2019t happen \u2019cause the mayor calls the cops off, the town blows up and burns up, and they blame the cops because young black people been told since the day they were born the cops are the mean, cops are the problem. Bammo! The mayor blames cops, the president blames cops, stupid cops whatever. Yep. Exactly what the kid\u2019s been told his whole life. Where are my Beats headphones? Those may not even be popular anymore \u2019cause that\u2019s Apple. Jay-Z needs to come out with some headphones now, save that stupid title streaming surface he\u2019s got that\u2019s about to be buried. <\/p>\n

Yes, I know this stuff, Mr. Snerdley. <\/p>\n

Now, the question: Why didn\u2019t any of this happen in North Charleston, South Carolina? I mean, there you have a really evil, racist, white cop who murdered a black man in cold blood, shot him in the back while he was running away. I mean, if you want a Ferguson, there it was. And you listen and you listen and you read and you watch, and you don\u2019t hear a damn thing about it. Why is that? Why wasn\u2019t the Reverend Jackson on the way in to town? <\/p>\n

Why wasn\u2019t the Reverend Sharpton on the way in to town? Why didn\u2019t the NAALCP and the Nation of Islam — who, by the way, are big in Baltimore right now. The mayor is even out there thanking them. The Nation of Islam is working with the Crips and the Bloods. You know a city is in dire straits when the gangs are the solution to the problem. And you\u2019ve got city leaders bragging about the fact they put the Crips and the Bloods together to put aside their differences for a day to clean up the area today.<\/line><\/p>\n

The Crips and the Bloods working with maybe the Nation of Islam. I don\u2019t know. Why didn\u2019t that happen in North Charleston, South Carolina? Well, you could say it\u2019s because law enforcement dealt with that immediately and openly. That cop was charged five seconds after the video was seen. That cop is gone forever, as soon as it was seen, but it still, even so, happened. It was a real-life example of what the civil rights community tells us happens every day, and they\u2019re not there making hay out of it only because the cops there dealt with it immediately. <\/p>\n

What was the matter? Here you have what happened in North Charleston, South Carolina, is exactly what they tell you happens every day in this country. Now you have Baltimore. It\u2019s nothing like what happened in Charleston, North Charleston, South Carolina, what happened in Baltimore, and that\u2019s where everybody is \u2019cause this is part of the agenda. It\u2019s the way the agenda is advanced. That\u2019s why never going away, and if you don\u2019t believe me, let me quote to you none other than Booker T. Washington from 1911. Over 100 years ago, Booker T. Washington.<\/p>\n

For those of you in Rio Linda, he had a group called the M.G.\u2019s. Their last hit was Green Onions in 1968. Booker T. Washington said, in 1911, he said this: “There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”<\/p>\n

Booker T. Washington, 1911, more than a hundred years ago on the grievance industry. He\u2019s talking about the Reverend Jackson and Al Sharpton and you pick your name. Anybody else who does this kind of stuff, he\u2019s talking exactly about them. They do not want it to stop. They do not want it to go away. They “do not want the Negro to lose his grievances” means they don\u2019t want any of this solved because they did not want to lose their jobs. There were race hustlers even back in the day of Booker T. Washington. There were race hustlers back in the days of slavery. This isn\u2019t gonna end. This is not gonna end until the Democrat Party somehow, some way, is ever held accountable for the crap they have visited on this country.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, there\u2019s also a variation of the Limbaugh Theorem<\/a> in play here. Do you remember the Limbaugh Theorem? The Limbaugh Theorem was created by me to help people understand how Barack Obama was never held accountable for any of the negative impacts of his policies. The way he pulled it off was to, even as president, never appear to stop campaigning. He never really appeared as governing. <\/p>\n

<\/a>He was always positioning himself as being opposed by powerful forces that were trying to undermine him and to keep him from winning, even though he\u2019d already won. There was always this invisible, powerful force trying to sabotage everything. So he\u2019d go to the campaign trail, he\u2019d go out and do a speech two years into his presidency, make it look like a campaign appearance, like he\u2019s seeking votes, seeking support, even though his policies have been implemented and they\u2019re running their course and they\u2019re creating havoc and he\u2019s out there making it look like he\u2019s opposed to the very thing that\u2019s happened because of him. <\/p>\n

As far as the low-information voters are concerned, he\u2019s blameless. He\u2019s fighting the same things they once fought. He\u2019s trying to fix the same things they want fixed. They haven\u2019t the slightest idea, he\u2019s the one that screwed \u2019em up in the first place. That\u2019s the Limbaugh Theorem. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hello, Rush. How are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m great. I\u2019m glad you waited. I really appreciate it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019d wait 10 days for you, if not more. I\u2019ve been listening to you since 1990. It\u2019s the second time I\u2019ve gotten through. I think of you as a dear friend because I was 18 months from having voted for Michael Dukakis back when I started listening to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ah, yes, The Loser.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. And things have changed. My point is that I don\u2019t think it\u2019s possible to overestimate the malignancy that clothes Barack Obama. I want to take an idea that I got from a book, and it\u2019s the erosion of values leads to the lessening of sanctions. The lessening of sanctions leads to the abolishment of values. And it\u2019s self-reciprocating. So what\u2019s taking place here is they\u2019re against the police who are the enforcers of sanctions. So when you eliminate sanctions, you cheapen things. Imagine if the sentence for murder was 60 days. What would be the value of life? So when they attack people —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, now — ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. We murder more than — I mean, there are people that get away — it proves your point, by the way. Dare I say the word? Dare I say the word? It\u2019s the dreaded A-word. Abortion. It has cheapened life. In Chicago, I remember years ago a seven-year-old gunned down a four-year-old. Gunned down, seven-year-old gunned down a four-year-old. What in the world is happening? I said, look, seven years old, 17 years old, kids are observant, and they can very quickly pick up on something like the value of life. They can watch television and they can see people die, come back to life. They can have a whole jaundiced view of the whole concept of death and life as a result. <\/p>\n

But I get your point. I mean, if you murdered somebody and the max sentence was two months, that, by the way, is one of the theories that is abounding out there when it comes the role of police in a circumstance. There are people like Obama and this mayor who think that strong policing, police using show of force, promotes violence. They believe that it promotes violence and encourages violence because it agitates people, when the truth is the exact opposite. <\/p>\n

They make police forces weak. They demand, they order the police to stand down, they order the police to use restraint, as in Ferguson. One night when the riots were taking place, the cops stood down. The theory was, if we don\u2019t try to stop \u2019em, they\u2019ll get it out of their systems and we\u2019ll only have one night of this instead of a week. It was giving in, caving in, it was appeasement. <\/p>\n

Same thing with this mayor. I am convinced — you know, when she makes this statement that give the people who want to destroy space to do that, whatever she claims was misunderstood, bottom line is that she withdrew police presence. When the rioting was going crazy recently, instead of snapping a curfew on last night, she does it tonight, giving them an additional day, and it\u2019s all part of the belief that if you withdraw the cops then the agitators will be less angry, the agitators and the rioters will do less rioting. And the fact of the matter is it\u2019s just the exact opposite. <\/p>\n

If you have a show of police strength, you are doing more to see to it that protests take place peaceably than if the cops are not there. If the cops are not there, if the cops are ordered to show restraint, if the cops are ordered to stand down for any length of time, that equals weakness and that encourages ramped-up protest. Well, these kids, they\u2019re looking at this movie called The Purge. What if there were no laws? When the cops aren\u2019t there, there aren\u2019t any enforcement of the laws. These leftists have the exact opposite out of phase way of thinking. <\/p>\n

You look at Eric Holder and Ferguson, Missouri, and Marc Lamont Hill on CNN last night. Their theory is that rioting is a reaction to a rotten environment created by the cops. They think rioting is justified, rioting is in fact totally understandable when you have such a heavy cop presence. But that\u2019s not what Ferguson was and it\u2019s not what Baltimore is. What these are, these are people who see an opportunity to loot and to steal and to destroy, get away with it because the cops are told to stay away. It\u2019s the exact opposite of what the left thinks.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Something I shared with Mr. Bo was this thought that I had last night. This is the Obama Doctrine coming home to our own country, and let me put it this way.<\/p>\n

CALLER: His chickens have come home to roost.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly what we\u2019re seeing play out in Baltimore: Project weakness and let the world go to hell.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How\u2019s Obama doing that in Baltimore?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, it\u2019s a “similar.” He\u2019s not doing it. It\u2019s the same philosophy coming home to roost in Baltimore. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019re doing the same thing that he is doing worldwide: Project weakness, and all hell breaks loose.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, you\u2019ve got a point in this. You can make a point about tying this to Obama\u2019s international behavior, in the sense that Obama believes the United States is guilty of things. It\u2019s why he\u2019s apologized in his first term whenever he traveled internationally. He apologized for whatever he thought the nation he was in felt offended by from the United States. ‘Cause he agreed and we had been bad. We had done things that were not our right to do, or we\u2019re too big or what have you. <\/p>\n

I think taking the US out of the world is a policy idea of his that\u2019s rooted in the belief that we have no business in the world. We have no business telling each other how to live, what to do, how to do it. We don\u2019t let anybody else tell us that. Now, by the way, to virgin ears, that might sound actually sensible. “Well, that\u2019s right, Rush! I mean, hell, somebody tells us what to do and we\u2019re gonna do what? We\u2019re gonna tell go to hell. Well, why shouldn\u2019t they tell us to go to hell when they hear from us what they ought to do?” <\/p>\n

Well, what you\u2019re missing in that is that the world\u2019s a dangerous place. The world has far more thugs, dictators, and tyrants oppressing its people than the other. The United States is the lone outpost that can guarantee the freedom of its own people and stand for it everywhere, and we have a distinctive American culture and a distinct set of American values that have made us the world\u2019s lone superpower.<\/p>\n

And if we have a president who does not believe in them, and thinks that they are not superior to anything else and wants to apologize for them and withdraw us from the world, then that\u2019s what we have with Obama. Now, you translate that to this local situation in Baltimore, and you would apply it as such: “The people of Baltimore, the African-American population in general have been screwed from the day the Declaration of Independence was signed. <\/p>\n

“They were set up to be slaves. They were set up to be second-class citizens. The Constitution was written to guarantee that, and it\u2019s about time that changed. Not just African-Americans, but every minority population has a legitimate grievance against the country, and the expression of that grievance — even if it is in the form of violence — is understandable and should be allowed to happen because their grievance is real! Stand down.” <\/p>\n

So I think that\u2019s what Alan means by the Obama Doctrine, which has as the umbrella under which everything else exists: “America is guilty. America is and has been wrong, and America has and does mistreat people, and finally all those people who\u2019ve been mistreated are rising up and they\u2019re not putting up with it anymore.” Now, the whole thing falls flat because it\u2019s 100% wrong, but nevertheless it is apparently an operating theoretical position that Obama holds, and I don\u2019t think he\u2019s gonna deny it. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
