RUSH: Quite obviously, ladies and gentlemen, there is black rage in America. I mean, it exists. If it wasn\u2019t being fanned, it exists in its own universe and by virtue of its own inertia, and it\u2019s only going to get worse. A Fox News story. This is something, by the way, I don\u2019t expect anybody to remember, but I\u2019ve been predicting this all the way back in my Sacramento days, back in the 1980s.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m gonna assume, \u2019cause I\u2019ve mentioned it a number of times, that you have probably heard me discuss this. But it\u2019s becoming, it\u2019s getting closer and closer to a reality now. Here\u2019s the headline<\/a>: “NAACP Battles Latino Groups Over Push to Open Public Schools for Non-English Speakers — A plan that would dedicate two public high schools in suburban Washington to immigrants and students struggling with English is pitting black and Hispanic communities … against one another. <\/p>\n

<\/a>“The Prince George\u2019s County, Maryland, chapter of the NAACP is strongly opposing the plan — which would take effect next school year, and cover about 800 students having English language difficulties — claiming it will pull resources from other students and unfairly redistribute them to Hispanic students.” In other words, ladies and gentlemen, there has been for the longest time — under the surface — an ongoing battle for number one minority status, because the number one minority always gets the greatest share of federal money that\u2019s been redistributed. Benefits, if you will. <\/p>\n

The NAALCP knows that African-Americans have been the number one ranking minority in the United States, and, as such, have always had first dibs and the first claim on benefits, federal benefits. Call \u2019em what you want. Unemployment benefits, welfare benefits, food stamps, whatever you want to call it, the African-American community has laid claim to number one status. It\u2019s been going on for quite a while. It\u2019s now surfacing in ways and becoming visible. <\/p>\n

The Latino community, the Hispanic community is getting closer to making an actual claim that they are the number one minority, and this is because of the record number of illegal immigrants pouring into the country. More and more of them coming in do not speak English. And, as such, there are many strikes against them. It\u2019s simply unfair that so many newly arrived future Democrat voters don\u2019t speak English and therefore can\u2019t fill out the forms to get federal benefits. <\/p>\n

So the government must take steps to see to it that they become educated in English, and they are taking money that the NAALCP considers to be its and reallocating it to newly arrived illegal immigrant Hispanics. This is setting up and causing quite a lot of friction. As it says here, “The Prince George\u2019s County, Maryland, chapter of the NAACP is strongly opposing the plan — which would take effect next school year, and cover about 800 students having English language difficulties — claiming it will pull resources from other students and unfairly redistribute them to Hispanic students.<\/p>\n

“Some critics go so far as to compare the plan to segregation.” <\/p>\n

The NAALCP is on the verge of charging segregation because money they consider to be theirs as the number one deserving minority, is now in the process of being diverted to Hispanics and Latinos. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: I want to get back to this story out of Washington, Prince George\u2019s County, \u2019cause this is gonna bubble up, folks. This is effervescing, and it has been off and on for decades. But it\u2019s going to intensify now with all this talk of amnesty. And with blanket amnesty on the horizon we\u2019re talking five, 10, maybe as many as 15 million illegal immigrants, many of whom can\u2019t speak English. <\/p>\n

They are challenging, or going to end up challenging, African-Americans as the number one most deserving minority in this racist, prejudice, discriminatory country called in the United States. That NAACP chapter in Prince George\u2019s County is all upset that money is being siphoned from them to build a couple of schools for illegals that can\u2019t speak English. <\/p>\n

Bob Ross, president of the Prince George\u2019s County branch the NAALCP told Fox News that this is a slap in the face. Ross believes the proposal to open two new schools violates Brown v. Board of Education, 1954 Supreme Court case. Really? Is that where they want to go? Brown v. Board of Education is inviolate. It can mean anything civil rights activists want it to mean now. So Bob Ross believes the proposal to open two new schools for illegal immigrants who don\u2019t speak English violates Brown v. Board of Education that ruled separate schools for black and white students violated the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution. <\/p>\n

He said, “‘It risks turning Prince George\u00c2\u2019s County into a segregated school system.\u2019 Adding that he realizes the need for better education in the county but believes it should not come at the cost of existing students.” In other words, “What do you mean you\u2019re gonna take money that we\u2019ve earned as the number one minority, you\u2019re gonna take it out of our pockets and give it to them? You can\u2019t do that, Brown v. Board of Education, separate but equal, you can\u2019t do it. That\u2019s segregation.” Never mind that segregation seems to be the objective these days of the modern civil rights movement. <\/p>\n

“Latino advocacy group CASA de Maryland sees it differently. The group, which has pushed for the schools, argues that it\u00c2\u2019s not a violation of the Constitution because the schools are not mandatory and are being built to provide options to immigrants.” The magic word there being “immigrants,” you see, because we are a nation of immigrants. We are all immigrants and it\u2019s simply not fair to single out this particular group of immigrants and say that we are segregating them. <\/p>\n

But what this is all about is money, and when your only source of money is an agency or a government that\u2019s gonna give it to you, you\u2019re gonna do everything you can to make sure they don\u2019t give it to somebody else. Now, the obvious solution to this is to not depend on the government for what you have. But saying that is met with derision and ridicule. The easy way out of this problem is start living your life in a way that you don\u2019t depend on the government. <\/p>\n

“You can\u2019t say that. That\u2019s racist in and of itself, and it\u2019s mean-spirited, and it\u2019s extremist.” <\/p>\n

Is it, really? <\/p>\n

“Yeah, you can\u2019t say that. Self-reliance, yeah, that\u2019s one of those code words for America as a discriminatory place. It\u2019s not for everybody.” <\/p>\n

Why isn\u2019t it for everybody? What if everybody just threw in the towel and said, “You know what? I\u2019m not gonna rely on myself anymore. I\u2019m not gonna depend on me.” What if everybody did that, where would we be? It is the route, it is the way out of this problem. To me, the riskiest thing in the world would be to be dependent on the largesse of others. <\/p>\n

What if they get mad at me? What if they run out of money? What if somebody else comes along and makes a better case for it than I can make? What happens to me if they decide not to give it to me? And that\u2019s where we\u2019re headed because the word “entitlement” is now gonna take on an entirely different meaning, and we\u2019re going to have a new subset of strife in this country within the minority communities itself. Make no mistake about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good afternoon, Rush. Good to speak with you. Hey, I got a question for you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Or something you can analyze for me. The Democrats basically are telling us that with regards to immigration reform, we need to bring these people in because they need a better life and they want to better themselves, leave their poor countries. Earlier during the first hour you spoke with the schools of Maryland where they want to have two schools primarily for non-English speaking immigrants —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, but don\u2019t leave out now, don\u2019t leave out where the money from those schools is coming from.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah, without a doubt.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s coming from African-Americans and the NAALCP is not happy about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly. ‘Cause now we are dividing resources. So my thought process here is, okay, they want to do this, so the Democrats always tell us what they don\u2019t want us to do or what they\u2019re afraid of. They\u2019re afraid of here of disbursing resources to nonspeaking English immigrants and taking away from the black community. So, is this an opportunity where you see the Democrats having this backfire where Republicans basically embrace this to better these people, because, let\u2019s face it, if you\u2019re coming out of another country to come to the United States, you\u2019re not coming here to be status quo. You\u2019re coming here to strive. That\u2019s what the Chinese did, Vietnamese, German, Italians like myself, they came here to strive.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s a different era.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So I think this is gonna backfire on the Democrats because they\u2019re not gonna want to stay poor. They want to come here to achieve and that\u2019s gonna take away the resources —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, (laughing) yeah, theoretically you\u2019re right, but that\u2019s not who\u2019s getting in, my friend. Those people are being weeded out. That\u2019s the whole point. You\u2019re talking about the B-1 visa. Well, you\u2019re not, but that\u2019s what you mean. The quality…. well, I don\u2019t want to go there. I understand your theory about it backfiring, Democrats importing and legalizing a bunch of essential entrepreneurs that aren\u2019t gonna want to be wards of state. Do you think a Democrat\u2019s gonna screw this up and import those kinds of people? They know exactly the kind of people they need, and they know how to identify \u2019em, and they know how to keep \u2019em that way. <\/p>\n

One thing for sure, if you\u2019re in poverty and you\u2019re voting Democrat, you are staying there. That\u2019s what voting Democrat means is staying in poverty and having other people blamed for it. You don\u2019t vote Democrat to better yourself. You don\u2019t vote Democrat to expand your freedom and your limits. You don\u2019t vote Democrat for entrepreneurism. You vote Democrat to stay exactly how you are and be provided for. I would love that kind of thing to backfire on \u2019em, but I don\u2019t think they\u2019re gonna make that mistake. But I understand your thinking on that.
