Hey, Sonny, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Thank you, Rush. Rush, I was watching Saturday Night Live the other night, and the opening skit was pretty amazing. They were&#8230; It was Kate McKinnon, and she was portraying <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=6893\">Mrs. Clinton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You know, I got a note about this from a guy. Tell me if this is right. I got a note, and the guy said that this woman on SNL who did the Hillary thing just destroyed her.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"288\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulu.com\/embed.html?eid=pfk-qaquga_ioawe3fq5ha\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, she did, and she did a great job portraying her. I had to call my wife into living room to replay it, and then I told her what we had just seen. A lot of times when you\u2019re watching Saturday Night Live, the low-information audience will embrace or applaud whatever the subject matter is, a lot of times a political subject. There were crickets in the room when this woman portraying Hillary was saying that she was going to be trying to run for president.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No reaction from the audience whatsoever. None.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, I think it\u2019s probably because of the content of the skit. What I heard about this was that this comedian just destroyed Hillary the way Republicans are&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, people laughed. People laughed.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: They were laughing. So I really think that might have been an indication of people\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=6890\">appetite for Hillary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_103316\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/FordChase_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if that\u2019s one of the reasons she\u2019s out there. Look, we may lament this, it may be a sad commentary on our culture, but what happens on comedy shows has profound political impact. A Saturday Night Live skit can do that. Look what they did to Gerald Ford. Gerald Ford was actually a good athlete. Chevy Chase made him into the biggest bumbling idiot on earth, and that\u2019s what people ended up thinking of him.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>They\u2019ve done that to any number of people, but mostly they do it to Republicans. They destroyed Sarah Palin. Look at Sarah Palin, this e-mail scandal. Sarah Palin released every e-mail that she ever wrote or received when she was governor of Alaska. <\/line><img id=\"eZObject_103314\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/FeyPalin_medium.jpg\"\/><BR\/>And the media went through it, and they found that there wasn\u2019t anything in there but dull, mundane, day after day state business. There was nothing exciting, there was no scandal, there was no bribery, there was nothing.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s exactly what you would expect to find from a government official\u2019s e-mail. It\u2019s not what Hillary\u2019s is gonna be, and yet Tina Fey&#8230; How many of you people think that Sarah Palin said, &#8220;Oh, yeah, I\u2019m qualified for foreign policy \u2019cause I can see Russia from my front yard,&#8221; or whatever? Sarah Palin never said it. Tina Fey portraying Sarah Palin said. Now everybody thinks Sarah Palin said it. Hillary got that kind of treatment from Saturday Night Live.
