CALLER: Good day, Professor. It\u2019s great talking with you today.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. I have a quick point, if I may. Last week you had net neutrality. How come the same people that are post-orgasmic about that are the same people that were in horror that Obama, just a short few years ago, suggested that circuit breaker for the Internet? Remember that? In case of national security, he could hit the kill switch?<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, that is a good point. That\u2019s a great point. The president was given the authority by Congress to literally shut down the Internet with the circuit breaker switch if he judged there to be a national emergency, right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The same people that are applauding the government taking over the Internet opposed that like crazy! They were dramatically opposed. They were scared to death. “One guy can shut down the Internet? No way!” But I guess they\u2019ve forgotten. But, see, they don\u2019t think the enemy this time\u2019s Obama. They think the enemy\u2019s Comcast and AT&T and all of the providers. You know, big corporations. They hate \u2019em, and they think this net neutrality is gonna get even with those people. They\u2019re young. You have to cut \u2019em some slack. They need to be allowed their inconsistencies. But your point is well taken. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
