CALLER: Hey, Rush! I appreciate you taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Long-term listener. I heard you talk about Jameis a little bit ago and you said that he\u2019s probably gonna get a standing ovation. I hope not. I\u2019d be surprised. I\u2019m an alumni, alumnus, as well as my wife and my family, and we\u2019re all heading to the game this weekend. We\u2019re pretty embarrassed. In fact, we\u2019re upset about it. You know, we\u2019re to the point now where we just kind of want the guy to go away. <\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: (chuckles) Well…<\/p>\n

CALLER: I spoke with a bunch of fraternity brothers as well, and we all kind of agree, you know, he\u2019s a risk anymore.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you think he\u2019s gonna go away? Do you think they\u2019re gonna get rid of him? Do you think they\u2019ll bench him? Do you think they\u2019ll suspend him?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Nah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nah, he\u2019ll probably stay around.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s the student body. Whatever percentage of the attends at an FSU game is student body, that\u2019s who\u2019s gonna give \u2019em a standing O. The kids.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Probably. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised at that at all.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, that\u2019s what it\u2019s about.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But as far as —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t think the adults will. Some of them may not have even heard what happened yet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I hope they have. (chuckles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: But the kids, the students? Oh, man, they\u2019re gonna dig it! They\u2019re gonna think that it\u2019s a rallying thing here. “Hey, our QB got up on a table in the student union and started talking about…” and they\u2019re just gonna think it\u2019s something to celebrate. They\u2019ll give \u2019em a standing O, and especially because he was suspended for the first half! They\u2019ll welcome him back. They\u2019ll get the band off the field.<\/p>\n
