RUSH: I\u2019m gonna go to F. Chuck Todd here. He was on Charlie Rose last night on PBS. Charlie Rose said, “Hey, Chuck, how did you find the president to be when you interviewed him?”<\/p>\n

TODD: A lot more engaged than I think the conventional wisdom had been developing. You know, there\u2019s this idea that he seemed like he\u2019s not — is he taking the ISIS, you know, there have been, the chattering class if you want to call it, has he been taking ISIS seriously enough? Is he tired? Is he worn out? Is he ready to deal with this? Is he frustrated that this is being foisted upon him? I didn\u2019t see that at all.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. Exactly. Chuck Todd saw an engaged guy. He\u2019s involved. He\u2019s committed and so forth, just exactly what I said back on August 25th<\/a>.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH ARCHIVE: I know that I\u2019m in a minority on this, but I still think that this checked out, appearing uninterested could well be — I will not say definitely — could well be a stratagem that is designed to make Obama look like he doesn\u2019t care, like he\u2019s not engaged, while every aspect of his agenda marches on. … My point is, he has appeared disengaged from the get-go. It\u2019s been part of a strategy, to avoid accountability for anything. You know, the old Limbaugh Theorem argument.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. So F. Chuck Todd is essentially confirming my instincts here, and then also on the Charlie Rose Show last night, Charlie said, “Hey, Chuck, Hillary Clinton, do you think her chances have increased or slightly decreased over the last year?”<\/p>\n

TODD: If she were running to be the second woman president, I think she would not even be considered a frontrunner. She\u2019d be just considered another candidate. Position-wise, I would argue she\u2019s kind of out of step of where the Democratic Party is going to be in 2016, but I think the enthusiasm to break that glass ceiling may allow her to overcome those other issues.<\/line>
