RUSH: Let\u2019s get to what I was gonna start the program with, the hashtag, #BringBackOurGirls<\/a>. As you know, Michelle Obama went back to the hashtag<\/a> earlier this week. She went back on Wednesday and she did the hashtag again. I don\u2019t know if she made a personal appearance somewhere. I don\u2019t remember. I read the story. I don\u2019t know if she held the hashtag sign up, had a picture taken or what, but reemphasized the hashtag. We had the story yesterday, 80 troops have been sent into Chad. Forty of the troops are providing protection for the other 40, and the 40 who are being protected are running the drone program, flying the drone and doing whatever intelligence gathering trying to find the 300 kidnapped girls taken by Boko Haram. <\/p>\n

<\/a>So we got 80 troops, and honestly there were a lot of leftists who were stunned by that. \u00c2\u201cWhat do you mean, sending people? What do you mean? Why are we doing this?\u00c2\u201d It\u2019s not that they thought the hashtag — maybe it is that they thought the hashtag would work. But they couldn\u2019t believe we\u00c2\u2019d send the military to do this. So last night on Charlie Rose on PBS, he interviewed Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, who, by the way, also said that we are in the middle here of creating a New World Order. I think these people use that phrase just to send the wackos into Fruit Loops. But he said it. And in addition to that, you know, Charlie Rose said, “Look, the world\u2019s attention is focused on 200 children abducted by Boko Haram in Nigeria. We don\u2019t even know where they are, although you may know where they are. What is the United States doing and what are we gonna be able to do to bring those children back?”<\/p>\n

HAGEL: All those nations are — are sovereign nations. We can\u2019t just parachute in. Well, I suppose we could.<\/p>\n

ROSE: You have the ability, but not necessarily —<\/p>\n

HAGEL: We\u2019d want to — you have to be invited in to help them. We are working closely with the Nigerians. We just recently, a day or two ago, announced that we are putting 80 people in Chad. These are not boots on-the-ground people, but these are support people for drones, aircraft, to assist the Nigerians in finding those girls. Now, our 80 troops are armed because of their own self-defense and defending our assets there. But President Obama\u2019s made it very clear we\u2019re not gonna send boots on the ground.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. We\u2019re sending 80 troops to Chad, and they are on the ground. They\u2019re walking on dirt, soil, earth, whatever. But we\u2019re not gonna do that, so when Obama finds out that we did this, oh, you know how mad he\u2019s gonna be. I hope he wasn\u2019t watching Charlie Rose last night. ‘Cause he said we\u2019re not gonna send troops there. We\u2019re not gonna put troops on the ground, but 80 of them are there and they\u2019re not suspended in midair and they\u2019re not hanging there in parachutes. They\u2019re on the ground, and they\u2019re armed, but they\u2019re not boots on the ground, even though they are. So Obama\u2019s gonna find out about this, there will be another press conference next week, another investigation. Charlie Rose, however, doesn\u2019t understand why we haven\u2019t found these girls already. I guess. Listen.<\/p>\n
