RUSH: I want to play a sound bite from Obama from the nerd prom, the White House Correspondents Dinner. You know, most presidents, when they show up at this thing, it\u2019s been a tradition for as long as this dinner has been held that presidents get up, tell self-deprecating jokes, make fun of themselves, and every president up to Obama has done that. Obama doesn\u2019t do that. Obama does not laugh with. Obama\u2019s mean. From the get-go, everybody talked about how he\u2019s cool, calm and collected. I don\u2019t think the guy\u2019s cool. I think he\u2019s cold. I think this is a really, really cold and calculating guy. We have a 44-second montage of some of his so-called jokes, and when you hear these jokes, you\u2019ll understand who it is that\u2019s keeping certain issues alive, like the birther issue. He\u2019s the only guy talking about it anymore. Here, listen.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: An American won the Boston Marathon for the first time in 30 years. (cheers and applause) Which was inspiring, and only fair, since a Kenyan has been president for the last six. (laughter) I haven\u2019t seen somebody pull a 180 that fast since Rand Paul disinvited that Nevada rancher from this dinner. (laughter) As a general rule, things don\u2019t end well if the sentence starts, “Let me tell you something I know about the Negro.” Let\u2019s face it, Fox, you\u2019ll miss me when I\u2019m gone. It will be harder to convince the American people that Hillary was born in Kenya. What if your yearly checkup came with tickets to a Clippers game? Not the old Don Sterling Clippers; the new Oprah Clippers.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, it\u2019s the kind of stuff that people politely laugh at, but it makes some people nervous. This constant focus on Kenya and the birther issue. He\u2019s the one keeping it alive. He\u2019s got Fox News on the brain, obviously. We just had a caller, a young woman who made the point that the left doesn\u2019t really believe what they believe. They sort of conform to be cool and hip and so forth. Here\u2019s a guy who believes it. This guy believes every syllable of it. <\/p>\n
