RUSH: Tom in Waterloo, Iowa, thank you for waiting, sir. You’re next on the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Hello, Rush.

RUSH: Hey, hey.

CALLER: I take you to work with me every day so I want to extend coworker dittos.

RUSH: Thank you very much. I appreciate that.

CALLER: Rush, I wanted to get your take on something, as the commanding general of Operation Chaos, I was wondering if you think the damage that Operation Chaos is causing the Democratic Party by watching these two lead candidates go at each other, if you would see any broader effects, for instance, here in Iowa we would really love to oust Tom Harkin, and I’d like to see a greater effect on the Democratic Party in general. Do you see anything happening out there?

RUSH: No, and I’ll tell you why. It could happen, but in this case it’s not going to. Operation Chaos will affect the presidential race. The objective of Operation Chaos is to cause the Democrat presidential candidate to lose, by exposing that candidate, both these candidates, for what they are and who they are and to create so much infighting within the party that they all start hating and distrusting each other. But the only way Operation Chaos could secure victory down the ballot in House and Senate elections, is if the Republican Party was on the field. The Republican Party is not on the field. If the Republican Party sought to nationalize elections like they did in winning the House in ’94, if they sought to run campaigns against people like Harkin and whoever else is up this year on the Democrat side, House and Senate, and say, ‘Look, Senator X is no different than Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. They stand for the same stuff,’ but a party has to do that. We at Operation Chaos can only do so much.
