RUSH: Rachel in Manhattan. Rachel, thank you for waiting. It’s great to have you on the program. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. You know, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a racist. She’s a racist all right. She doesn’t like black conservative men like Allen West. The horrible things she said about him, I think there was some kind of rally in front of his campaign office in October of last year before the election, that he hates women, and now she’s a liar, she is nasty, she’s the one that voted for Obamacare that took out the $500 million —

RUSH: Yeah, that’s key. That —

CALLER: But she’s a racist.

RUSH: That is key.

CALLER: You gotta give it back to them, Rush. She is a racist. It’s that simple.

RUSH: She is running around trying to tell south Florida residents that Allen West wants to cut Medicare and Social Security when she herself voted for Obamacare which cut $500 billion from Medicare. Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz is deranged, folks. She is typical of today’s American left. They are deranged. We face a delusional enemy. So this woman takes to the floor of the House and violates long-standing decorum by calling out another member.

Now, I couldn’t care less. Times are we they are, but the House does have that understanding that members are not to be called out. She did it, and West replied. You know, West is a tough guy, and he is a brilliant man, and he’s a good and decent man, and he has served in the US military. He’s gone up against people far tougher than Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz, and so he fired back. This is not the first time she said this stuff about Allen West. She says it all the time in south Florida. It’s the first time she said it on the floor of the House. So what did she do? She ran like a little crybaby to all these other left-wing women of the Democrat Party to help her out, and they start returning fire that West is the racist and West is the sexist and so forth.

It would be the same left-wing women, by the way, who have said not a damn thing about the attacks on Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann. The same left-wing women who couldn’t care less if those two women are destroyed. The same left-wing women who go wobbly kneed over Bill Clinton, who abused women left and right, these same left-wing women who have offered who knows what kind of favors to Bill Clinton to thank him for protecting abortion.

Now, Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz goes and gets all these other left-wing women. I don’t think they’re to be taken seriously. They’re liberals; their concern for womanhood is really a concern for liberalism. We know that. Feminism is not really about women’s rights. It’s about the sacrament to the religion of liberalism, which is abortion. Their outrage is selective and politically expedient. Now, you people in Boca who live in Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz’s district, do you know that she is the one who voted to slash Medicare by half a trillion dollars? Debbie Wasserman Schultz voted to set up a 15-member board whose purpose is to slash the drugs and procedures that Medicare provides. She voted for that. It’s called Obamacare.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz voted for the death panels. Debbie Wasserman Schultz voted for Obamacare, which is gonna blow up the American health care system if it is fully implemented. She is the one who is going to have the blood on her hands of an absolutely horrid piece of legislation. But you have to ask yourself, why are they going after Allen West? What happened here? I’ll tell you what’s going on, I’ll tell you why you go after Allen West: He’s effective. Allen West is one of a few who routinely stands up, speaks positively about the country and conservatism; he opposes the left-wing agenda; he does it and articulates it flawlessly, and as such, he’s made himself a big target.

Now, I think that it’s clear they’re gonna take him out. The whole point here, they have made a strategic decision to take Allen West out. Where are the charges of racism here? Here is a white woman from south Florida going after an African-American. You reverse this situation, you make the African-American a Democrat and the woman a conservative, and you check the difference in reaction here. They’re trying to take Allen West out and if they succeed the result will be that no other conservative’s gonna ever have the guts to stand up and speak his mind and say what needs to be said for fear of the same treatment, because if you’ve noticed nobody on the Republican side is coming to West’s defense, which is a huge error.

So we’ve got our guys, we got West and a couple of others, good guys, speak out, they end up being targeted, and no one comes to their defense within the party. They leave it all up to people in talk radio to do it. So the left goes out, forms their attack squads. Here we have a war hero, Allen West, a war hero, a great conservative, dared to fire back at these lunatics, and here comes this delusional, deranged nut, and he’s alone. He’s alone in this. Why? Anyway, I think it’s an indication of what’s out there, and if she gets away with this, I’m telling you: he’s a target. they’re trying to take him out any which way they can. These people are constantly scheming this way, and if they get away with this, folks, I guarantee you, you know, you’re always calling me, “Why don’t the Republicans say this or why don’t the Republicans do that?” No Republican’s gonna do diddly-squat if they succeed in taking Allen West out because none them are gonna want to be the next target. It’s just that simple. It’s time for somebody to return fire from the position of the party itself. Realize what’s going on here. How can you not realize what’s going on?

RUSH: Allen West, I think, is a real rarity. Allen West is a Republican male with as much testosterone as Republican women have. That, my friends, is a good thing.

RUSH: Lisa in Akron, Ohio, welcome to the EIB Network. Great to have you here.

CALLER: Yeah, hello, Rush. It’s a great thrill to speak to you.

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: I will be quick. I have called John Boehner’s office, and I am going down my directory of Republican women serving in Congress. They need to have a press conference and defend Allen West against Debbie Wasserman Schultz. I’m tired of this.

RUSH: Yeah, I understand. This is something traditionally Republicans don’t do.

CALLER: Well, it’s time to stand up, Rush. I’m done. I’m done with the Democrats; I’m done with their bullying. I’m sorry to interrupt you, but I can’t stand this anymore. What she is getting away with is unforgivable, and Colonel West deserves better from his own party.

RUSH: Well, the problem that Colonel West has in terms of his own party is he’s a conservative, and they’re not crazy about them. The Republican Party leadership, especially the establishment gang inside the Beltway, they’re just not crazy about conservatives. Conservatives are a bunch of nuts.

CALLER: Well, Rush, then I’m a nut.

RUSH: I’ll guarantee you that some of the Republican leadership in Washington looks at Allen West as a kook.

CALLER: I accept that.

RUSH: Just like they would look at me as a kook.

CALLER: And me, too, and I consider that a compliment anymore.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: I wear that label with pride, Rush. It’s time to stand up to these people. It’s time to put aside this politeness and move ahead and start defending the people who are telling the truth. I started with Marsha Blackburn, and I’m going down my list, and I’m also calling the Republican congressman from Florida and saying, “You know, you people need to get on this and defend one of your own,” and so that’s all I have to say. I want to thank you for your time, and I appreciate everything you do, Rush. I’ve been listening for about 21 years.

RUSH: Well, you’re more than welcome, and God bless you. You’re doing the Lord’s work out there. As long as you’re making phone calls, you might as well pass along your thoughts on this latest rumor about a grand bargain being on the verge of being stuck.

CALLER: I almost had a heart attack when I heard you speak of that, because I was just on the phone with Speaker Boehner’s office and he said, “Well, we’re really not getting very many calls about Congressman West because we are really talking about the budget here.”

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: To which I replied: “Cut, Cap, and Balance, and nothing else.” So I’ve done my part; I’m making my phone calls. I drive my friends crazy.

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: And so there you go, Rush. I hope you have a good day, and thank you for your time.

RUSH: Thanks. I relate, by the way, to driving your friends crazy.

CALLER: (giggles) I know. We’re on the same page.

RUSH: (laughs)

CALLER: Thanks a lot, Rush.

RUSH: All right. You bet. Thank you, Lisa. I appreciate it.BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Darrell in Chicago. Darrell, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Pleasure to talk to you, Rush.

RUSH: Thank you, sir.

CALLER: All right. I just wanted to let you know that if anything that they pass, that Boehner comes out with that he wants to have us agree to has any tax increases in it whatsoever — be it removing the deduction for the mortgage interest or anything. Anybody that votes for that on the Republican side will be primaried, I guarantee you. I know I will. I’ve been talking to a lot of people and everybody says if anybody does that, breaks that pledge. We remember now why the structure that we have of government was put in place in the first place. We haven’t used it because we get comfortable before, “Oh, we know this guy. He’s okay. Times are okay,” but those times are over. Anybody that does that is gonna be primaried. I have a great feeling that’s gonna happen across the board on any Republicans that offer tax increases no matter how (garbled).

RUSH: Are you an official Tea Party guy?

CALLER: Yeah, I consider myself a member of the Tea Party, absolutely.

RUSH: Okay. All right. So I think folks ought to listen to what you’re saying. I think there are a number of people out there — a considerable number of people — who, if there is any kind of compromise that gives Obama anything he wants in this deal when he’s on the verge of caving himself and collapsing, there is going to be hell to pay for Republicans. They’d better be very careful. There’s a reason they’re nervous. Look, what do we have? We had secrecy before Obamacare, we had secrecy before the stimulus, and now we got secrecy and mystery before this. We’re having to rely here on leaks, and the purpose of the leak is to set the stage, to set people up. No transparency whatsoever.

We have no idea in our own country, the United States of America, what our elected representatives are actually talking about. We do not know what the status of these things are. We have to rely on news reports that we inherently, instinctively distrust. But, “Why all the secrecy?” is my point. If this is such a great deal — if it’s a great deal, we’re on the verge of a great deal — why isn’t anybody out there calling a press conference and saying, “Look at what we’ve just done for you! Look at what we’ve just done for America! Look at the great progress. It works. We have come to a deal. It’s great for the country”? Why isn’t that happening? Why all the secrecy? Well, the answer is obvious: They know we’re not gonna like it, and they’re just assuming that things aren’t gonna change when it comes to the voters, either.

They are assuming, folk that here in July of 2011, whatever happens will be long forgotten and trumped and superseded by whatever issues happen between now and the election, particularly the events of a campaign. So, they’re counting all this being forgotten, guarantee you.

Bill in San Antonio, Texas. Hello, sir. Great to have you on the program. Bill in San Antonio, Texas. I guess Bill isn’t there. He’s not there? He’s not there. Well, says up there that he’s been unemployed seven months and he’s angry, not depressed. He wanted to react to the story from Dr. Keith Ablow that dealt with people that had been unemployed for over a year, up to 99 weeks that they ended up being depressed. He’s been unemployed seven months. He’s still angry. Hopefully the reason he’s no longer there is ’cause he just got a call to go on a job interview.

Who’s next? Jeremy in Breaux Bridge, whatever. I don’t know what “LOA” is. Welcome to the program, sir. Hello.

CALLER: Hello, Mr. Limbaugh. It’s an honor to talk to you. I’ve been calling a lot, trying to get through, and this is the first time. I just wanted to comment on the fact that from what I’ve seen — and I know personally myself, but from what I’ve seen — there’s a lot of Democrats leaving the Democrat Party. I want to get a T-shirt that says, “The party left me behind” because I’m going to reregister as Republican as soon as I can. You know, the economic policies they put us through has left me in a serious bind. I’m a very big social liberal, but I can’t deal with it. It seems like Republicans are the only ones who actually know how to run the economy and get things right. I was in high school when Bush was in office, and I was exposed to a lot of the stuff you say in the “skrools.”

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: You know, I’m in Louisiana. So that makes things a little bit different. There’s more of a conservative lean down here but you still have a number of them, the teachers out there with liberal slant. I was exposed to a lot of that, and it wasn’t until like when I started working here — I’ve been working since around 2006 — and every day I listen to your program, it’s just like every day I’m a getting more and more leaning towards the right leaning towards the right ’til finally I gotta leave the Democrats.

RUSH: Well, I can’t thank you enough. Just look at me, folks, as the flag: If you’re listening to me, you’re looking at the American flag.
