A College-Educated Female Democrat for Trump Explains Why: We Need Better

RUSH: Amy in Fort Myers, Florida, up next.  I’m glad you waited.  Great to have you here.  Hello.

CALLER:  Thanks, Rush.  Thanks for having me on your show.  I love it.  I just wanted to prove your point.  I’m a female, college-educated mom of five, deplorable Democrat who voted for Trump here in Florida.  My vote already is in.  We need better.

RUSH:  You are a college-educated —

CALLER:  Yes.

RUSH:  — female deplorable, you’re Democrat voting for Trump.  Why are you voting for Trump? 

CALLER:  I voted for policy.  I didn’t vote for personality.  I also didn’t believe the media.  I didn’t believe all the hype around how mean or how deplorable he is.  I voted for policy.  I actually voted for America.  I voted for my kids’ future, and it is not with her.

RUSH:  Good for you.  You know the Democrats are putting out, like reporters, analysts on TV, are saying that it’s only people that didn’t go to college that vote for Trump.

CALLER:  Absolutely.

RUSH:  It’s only people that didn’t go to college — they’re implying — that are dumb enough to be duped by Trump.  But college-educated women especially don’t want any part of Trump.  And you’ve got a great slogan:  We need better.

CALLER:  We need better.  We deserve better.  My kids deserve better.  America deserves better. 

RUSH:  And we don’t need more of the same, which is what the Clintons represent.  And, by the way, it is the Clintons.  Just like in 1992 it was blue plate special, buy one get one free.  Here’s another one.  BOGO.  Buy one get one free, the Clintons coming at us again.  And it’s more of the same.  And I think that’s a serious question for people that have doubts about either of these candidates.  Thank you, Amy.
