RUSH: You may have heard me mention that Kathryn and I took a vacation recently, and as part of it, we went to visit Normandy, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc. We walked on the beach where so many incredible American troops acted in bravery that is incomprehensible to the average person, all in the name of freedom. In the name of freedom for people of other countries, in addition to their own, and ours. And then we walked through the American cemetery in Normandy.

Over 10,000 white crosses with the names of American young people, in an unreal perfect geometric order. I mean, it was really moving, folks, it was phenomenally sobering and moving. And the older I get, the more awe-struck I am by people who do what they do. Now, many of you in this audience are military, former military — and, to us, you are heroes. You are true, eternal heroes. Those of you in this audience, people I can speak for, are eternally grateful for what you and your families have sacrificed for this country.

Our little small business, Two If By Tea, is a proud sponsor of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. This is a great organization that does tremendous work. They provide scholarships and financial support to the children of military personnel lost in combat or in other tragedies such as 9/11. They’ve been around since the mid-nineties. I was present in the living room when the idea came together and the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation was born.

Our goal when we launched Two If By Tea two years ago this week… This is our little birthday that we’re celebrating here. Our goal was to experience firsthand all of the rules, all the regulations, all of the obstacles that American small-businesspeople face — all the paperwork, all of the requirements your people are required to produce — from scratch, in this country just to start a business. We wanted to create jobs. We wanted to work with American companies — and, of course, raise awareness about the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

We know that many of you out there are small business owners, and we even have a greater appreciation for what you do — and we’re one of you now. We applaud you, and so we are celebrating our second birthday, second anniversary, at TwoIfByTea.com. And, of course, our icon is me, Rush Revere. That’s in honor of our good buddy, Paul Revere, who rode through the streets of Boston prior to American independence in 1776. So we’re starting here at Two If By Tea what we think is our greatest sweepstakes yet.

Here’s the deal, folks. Right now, from right now through Friday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, you could be the grand prize winner that drives away with a brand new Jeep Patriot. How perfect is that? I’ll repeat. The grand prize winner gets a fully equipped, all-weather-drive Jeep Patriot SUV. The 2013 Jeep Patriot is a perfect way to celebrate all the patriots that helped create the United States and sustained it. It’s a beautiful SUV.

It’s got eye-catching/strong exterior colors and everything laid out in a tasteful, comfortable interior. We wouldn’t do anything less. Your next adventure could be in total style. Now, all the official rules, all the pictures of the Jeep Patriot, the pictures of previous winners are posted at our website, TwoIfByTea.com. All you have to do to be entered to win is very simple: You just have to shop at TwoIfByTea.com right now through Friday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. What are you buying? Very simple! Very uncomplicated!

You are buying the best iced tea, we think, in the country. Whatever flavor you get, however you have it sweetened (even if you want unsweetened, if you just want regular tea) you won’t find any better, and we ship it to you el freebo. We even absorb that, in our effort to get it to you. Now, we also know that gasoline prices are high. So, in addition to the Jeep Patriot, the grand prize winner’s gonna get a check worth $1500 to cover some of your gasoline or your insurance.

But fear not; there are also incredible first- and second-place prizes that include the most tender steaks, hamburgers, and jumbo hot dogs in this country from Allen Brothers. Most contests would offer you Allen Brothers as the big prize. In our case, it’s a second place prize, and you can’t do better than that. The first-place winner gets $1500 worth of Allen Brothers in addition to the $1500 check for gasoline and insurance, in addition to the Jeep Patriot SUV. That’s a lot of barbecues.

It’s the big kahuna sweepstakes, the best vehicle, the best Allen Brothers steaks, the best iced tea in America. Keep in mind that all prizes including the Jeep Patriot can be gifted to a person or a friend or family member of your choice if you don’t happen to want it or need it. You can even give the Jeep Patriot to a military family if you choose to do so. Kathryn and I can’t wait to call and personally let whoever the winner is know that they have won.

That’s one of our favorite things to do: Call the winners, listen to how unbelieving they are. They never believe it’s us. Then they get all excited; it’s just priceless. All you gotta do to enter, folks, is go to TwoIfByTea.com right now through Friday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, shop, and you are registered. That’s it. The Jeep Patriot, Allen Brothers steaks, 1500 bucks cash, 1500 bucks worth of Allen Brothers. It’s just to die for. TwoIfByTea.com. Everything is explained there.
