RUSH: The last couple of days, I’ve spent a lot of time talking about Kathryn and my trip to Normandy on our vacation. This just slipped my mind. We took some pictures. Not a whole lot, but we took some pictures while we were there at Pointe du Hoc, Normandy, Omaha Beach, and the cemetery. We posted ’em on our Facebook page, and there have already been 600-plus thousand views without even mentioning that. Sorry, folks. I don’t know where my head was.

I just remembered this last night in the midst of all this.

I mean, I had people coming up to me left and right. Every 30 seconds, somebody wanted something. Kathryn said, “You know what? The pictures aren’t up on your website.” I slapped my head. “I forget all about it!” So I sent ’em up to Koko, and Koko got ’em posted last night. So we’ve got ’em at Facebook.com/RushLimbaugh. You can get the link to our Facebook page at our website, RushLimbaugh.com, or go straight to the Facebook page. It’s just a few pictures there. There are a couple of really good ones of Kathryn in the cemetery and a couple of wide shots at Pointe du Hoc to accompany the story of what happened there.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I got an interesting e-mail during the break. I’m summarizing the e-mail: “Rush, you mentioned that Kathryn, your lovely wife, is the CEO of Two If By Tea, that she runs it. What else does she do? You never talk about her.” There’s a reason for that, folks. It’s called privacy and security and any number of things. But, you know, I tell you what. Enough people inquire, because I’ve been purposeful not to mention her just to avoid making her a target. It’s bad enough that I am. But she has led a fascinating life.

She’s grown up all over the world. Her parents, her mother was a State Department diplomat, and her father was a Naval Academy grad from the same class as McCain. But, after that, it’s mysterious. (chuckling) It really is open for speculation. There’s a lot of teasing. “Was he a CIA spook?” She’s had a fascinating life, and she’s done a lot of things. She speaks a number of languages, has been a number of places, and is a fascinating person. But I’m just so obsessed now with privacy and not making her a target, that that’s why I don’t talk about her.

Maybe I’ll prepare just a little bio at some point and give you the bare essentials.
