RUSH: Let me grab a quick phone call since it’s Open Line Friday. Sacramento, California, my adopted hometown. Doug, welcome to the EIB Network. Hello.
CALLER: Thank you very much for taking my call. I really appreciate it.
RUSH: Nice to have you, sir.
CALLER: It’s an honor to talk to you. Hey, sometimes you refer to Cookie as a male and sometimes you refer to Cookie as a female, so I’m wondering: is Cookie transgender?
RUSH: I do not refer to Cookie as a male. Where do you get that?
CALLER: I heard that one time about three or four weeks ago.
CALLER: You said ‘he’ by mistake, I guess.
RUSH: Yeah? We don’t have any transgenders that I know of. I mean, there could be some people on the staff that have been through that, but they haven’t told me.
CALLER: Okay. Fair enough.
RUSH: No, Cookie is straight-down-the-line female.
CALLER: Okay. Well, if I misheard, I apologize, but I’m pretty sure one time you did refer to Cookie as he.
RUSH: No, I didn’t.
RUSH: I’m just going to tell you, I’ve never referred to Cookie as ‘he.’ Why would I do that?
CALLER: You’d have to ask him.
RUSH: You know what, you might be confusing Cookie with Koko.
CALLER: Oh, you might be right.
RUSH: Koko is married to Cookie. Koko runs the website.
CALLER: Oh, I was thinking Koko was the gorilla.
RUSH: Koko is the gorilla! Koko is the gorilla at the TV show that now runs the website. He’s the webmaster.
CALLER: Okay. You’re probably right about that.
RUSH: There you go.
CALLER: My bad.
RUSH: What a great Open Line Friday call. That’s the kind of stuff we’re looking for here on Open Line Friday.
