RUSH: Queen Bee Syndrome has struck again. This is yesterday, San Francisco, on the radio. The host out there, Ronn Owens on KGO, talking to Nancy Pelosi said, ‘Will you agree with the statement that there have been people who have lost primaries who have been more gracious than Hillary Clinton?’

PELOSI: I think Hillary Clinton has been very gracious. I think some of her supporters have been less than gracious.

RUSH: Oh! Nancy Pelosi ripping into Hillary’s supporters. Let me tell you what this convention coming up is going to be. At this convention coming up, Mrs. Clinton, the Clintons are going to do everything in their power to show the delegates at this convention that they chose the wrong savior. You watch. That’s what the Clinton mission is going to be. And when the word spreads of what Pelosi just said about Clinton supporters, a lot of people — women — the anger is going to increase even more. Then another question: ‘Can anything be done about Joe Lieberman?’

PELOSI: Joe Lieberman has said things that are totally irresponsible when it comes to Barack Obama. Here we have a leader for the future, really a great leader for the future, one that comes along only every now and then. And they know it, and so they have to undermine him — and one of their best weapons, of course, is someone who is considered by some to be a Democrat.

RUSH: Now, this bite, I think, indicates… I keep going back and forth Pelosi. I keep asking, ‘Is she really this dumb, or does she just know that her audience is dumb and is trying to relate to them?’ (interruption) You think she’s just that dumb? Well, I know, but she managed to become Speaker of the House. (interruption) That’s true. It’s Democrats. (sigh) ‘A leader that comes along only every now and then’? So what are we going to do about Lieberman? Well, she said this.

PELOSI: The Democrats in the Senate are in a tough spot, have 51 votes. Joe Lieberman organizes with them. In a few — 85 days or something — they’ll have five more Democrats. They won’t need him to make the majority, and it will be interesting to see what the leadership in the Democratic leadership in the Senate does at that point in terms of Joe Lieberman’s chairmanship of his committee.

RUSH: So Pelosi is letting it be known that if they are doing this new margin that they’re all counting on, that Lieberman is toast.
