DNC head honcho Howard Dean got a pass on his remarks in an interview last week. He said:”If you look at folks of color, even women, they’re more successful in the Democratic party than they are in the white — uh, excuse me –Republican Party”. He said that with a chuckle. The Drive-Bys brushed it off as a benign “slip of the tongue” or “misstatement.”

Safe to say, ladies and gentlemen, if any pundit, candidate, or Republican official ever referred– even in passing– to the Democrat Party as “the black party” or “the Hispanic party”,the Drive-Bys would create a five-alarm firestorm aimedat forcing that individual to leave public life in utter disgrace.

One reason liberals can safely get away with making divisive remarks is that their entire ideology — liberalism –is based on bigotry. To liberals, white people are inherently racist. The wealthy are the enemy of the poor. Corporations are evil destroyers of the environment– not the key to our high standard of living. The private sector is greedy and corrupt, while Big Government, of course,is the compassionate savoir. Our military? Just a bunch ofthugs, despots, and gangsters who torture and abuse the helpless (women and children),rather than liberate them from oppression. They just dislike everything about this country!

There’s another reason liberals get a pass from the Drive-Bys. The Drive-Bys are just like liberals — they are liberals!So the hate-filled, race-obsessed prism of America offered by Democrats… is the same narrative the Drive-Bysdeliver to America.
