Obama Said We’re Out of Money; But Now He’s Pitching Porkulus 2!

RUSH: I found a quote, by the way, back from May 23rd. Because the last couple of days, the Obama administration has been leaking the possibility of a second stimulus out there. I remember the sobering holiday interview with C-SPAN back on May 23rd.

This is during the Memorial Day weekend. Obama said to Americans, ‘We are out of money.’

Steve Scully of C-SPAN broke from a week of having Washington press Corps’s probing questions for the new president, and Scully said, ‘You know, the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?’

Obama: ‘Well, we’re outta money now.’

Not that that will stop him. I just want you to keep that in mind as Obama ratchets up this talk of perhaps a second stimulus package.
