RUSH: Here’s Mike in Danville, California. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello, sir.
CALLER: Well, thanks, Rush. Sure good to talk to you again.
RUSH: Thank you.
CALLER: Hey, so the Morgan Hill school district was just trying to protect our patriot students. That’s what they’re saying, right?
RUSH: Yeah. Which patriot students?
CALLER: Well, ours. The guys wearing the shirts with the flags on them.
RUSH: Yeah, but, which flags?
CALLER: American flag. Sorry.
RUSH: So they sent them home to protect them, right.
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: Because wearing the American flag is ‘provocative.’
CALLER: Yeah. So I’ve got a question then. If the American flag is such a lightning rod symbol, I just wondered: Did the high school fly the American flag on Cinco de Mayo?
RUSH: Ooo! Interesting question.
CALLER: I have a son. I have a son who is an 18-year-old senior in high school in the area here. I said, ‘Do not — Do not! — loiter around the flagpole.’
RUSH: (laughing) ‘Do not loiter around the flag pole.’ That’s an interesting question: Did they lower the American flag on Cinco De Mayo at Live Oak High School and raise the Mexican flag.
CALLER: To protect the students, of course.
RUSH: I’ll bet they didn’t.
CALLER: I’ll bet they didn’t, either.
RUSH: I’ll bet they didn’t, either.
CALLER: Hey, one other thing. Around here, Rahm Emanuel is lovingly referred to as ‘The Attack Ballerina.’
RUSH: (laughing) The Attack Ballerina! All right. Thanks very much, Mike. I appreciate it.
