RUSH: Sarah Palin this morning in Washington, DC, at the Susan B. Anthony List Celebration of Life Breakfast.
PALIN: We won’t forget those who promise to hold firm against government funding of abortion, but caved at the last minute in exchange for a nonbinding executive order promised by the most pro-abortion president to ever occupy the White House. We will not forget. We won’t forget come November our new pro-life, pro-woman majority will actually be pro-life when it counts, when those votes are needed. (applause)
RUSH: Right on, right on, right on. Now, this next sound bite really irritated the Washington Post. That one did, too. That sound bite irritated the Washington Post. They got a guy who published the story (grumbling), and you could read the end of his piece: ‘In fact, the new health care bill does not provide funding for abortion,’ which it most certainly does. But here’s the next bite. This really ticked off the State-Controlled Media.
PALIN: I always think of the mama grizzly bears that rise up on their hind legs when somebody’s coming to attack their cubs, to do something adverse toward their cubs. No, the mama grizzlies, they rear up — and, you know, if you thought pit bulls were tough, well, you don’t want to mess with the mama grizzlies, and I think there are a whole lot of those in this room. This year, look out, Washington, ’cause there’s a whole stampede of pink elephants crossing the line, and the ETA stampeding through (applause) the ETA is November 2nd, 2010.
RUSH: Well, there’s Sarah Palin, mama grizzly, she’s praising conservative women who are gonna take the country back. Susan B. Anthony List is a very august pro-life group in Washington, DC.
