The US Chamber of Commerce held a job-promotion conference this week. White House representatives were asked not to attend– at least that’s the story from Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.Chamber officials say otherwise. They say Jarrett’s office called the day before the conference, demanding a prime speaking slot to follow Chamber chief executive, Tom Donohue. They told her, “No thanks.” In other words, they told her to go pound sand.

The regime is also “all wee-wee’d up” over Mr. Donohue’s “open letter” to Obama. It says the regime has ignored “proven ideas for job creation”, while they vilify industries. The letter claims the regime has adopted an “ill-advised course of government expansion, major tax increases, massive deficits, and job-destroying regulations.” Donahue also charges that Obama and his Congressional allies are responsible for a “general attack on our free enterprise system” — all of which is true!

But Jarrett and Rahm Emanuel wrote back, expressing surprise and disappointment over the Chamber’s “rhetoric”,which they say “fails to acknowledge” all the important work the regime is doing for businesses.

Now, for the past few weeks,in response to more and more industry leaders speaking out about the damage this regime is causing,Obama has been trying sell the notion that they are not “anti-business,” but this is simple to figure out.

You know what a good economy and a healthy jobs market looks like, and what it feels like. And you know this… ain’t it.Also, Bush is long gone, so you know who to blame.Join me, won’t you?
