RUSH: I sit here, I dream. I know it’s not happening — like I’m watching MSNBC, and I’m looking at the hapless Tamron Hall, who is one of their infobabes, interview F. Chuck Todd, who is one of their political gurus at NBC. And of course they’re just talking to each other. Whatever they’re doing they’re talking for the inside-the-Beltway audience, you know, other journalists and so forth. And their regime is falling apart right in front of our very eyes. Stern is being investigated; Emanuel is leaving town; Axelrod is leaving town; Romer is leaving town; Orszag is only leaving town by getting married. Summers is leaving town. The only person left is Geithner, and nobody likes him. And Andy Stern being investigated.

Obama can’t draw a crowd and can’t give away autographs or seats at fundraisers. And they don’t get it. They’re sitting there totally oblivious. I’m watching ’em and I said, ‘They have no clue, or if they do, they’re ignoring it.’ But I wonder if they do know. I sit here and I watch these things. I watch Lockjaw. I watch all these people on ABC, CBS, NBC, and I wonder if while they’re doing their reporting, do they really know it’s all falling apart. Do they know the house of cards is starting to be exposed? Are they so gone, are they so far in that they believe the lie that they spread and continue to spread, or when their microphones and cameras go off, do they sit there and go, ‘Uh-oh.’ You know, I just wonder. We’ll never know, we’ll never know. (interruption) No, I’ve not been invited on the election news shows. It’s still early. I don’t expect to be invited. Do you mean election coverage show? No, no, no, no, no. No, I mean they want me on their morning shows, but I don’t think I’ll be invited to election night coverage. I wouldn’t do it anyway. I have a party to host and people over. I don’t think I would do it. I’ve only done it one time. It was with Tim Russert and Brokaw on NBC. It was in 2002. Well, Brokaw did kind of melt down. Tim didn’t. I mean Tim knew what was going on, but Brokaw, Brokaw was kind of blindsided by it.
