So she’s suggested, ‘Well, why don’t you come over and we’ll do some pre-tape?’
I said, ‘You can’t do that because it’s show prep,’ and life is show prep and show prep is the show.
‘No, it will only be ten minutes.’
‘No, it will be 45 just for the makeup.’
So I came up with an idea. I said, ‘Martha, why don’t we simulcast a portion of my show with yours? You get your Fox tech people to put a camera in my radio studio, and then for the period of time that we’re simulcast, I’ll just pretend I’m a guest on your show and you can ask whatever questions you want.’ So the way this eventuated is that she and her producer are coming down here, and she’s going to be in the studio on Monday with the Fox cameras and so forth. This is the first time I’ve turned over a portion of this program to somebody else. You talk about a career risk. But it’s the Fox News Channel, and it’s going to be fun. So I wanted to plug that and advise you that that’s coming up. It’s the last half hour on Monday that we’re going to simulcast, on the Fox News Channel’s Live Desk with Martha MacCallum.
